B&E Fabrications Ltd has over 35 years of experience in fabrication and installation of ornamental ironwork. It was founded by Ed Pearson who started as a landscaping business called Marbury Landscapes in the 1980s. In 1997, Marbury relocated to new premises in Preston on the Hill, allowing it to perform all fabrication work in-house. In 2011, the name was changed to Marbury Constructive Solutions to reflect an expanded scope of external works contracting. The steady growth of the fabrication division led to the founding of B&E Fabrications Ltd in 2020, headed by Ed Pearson and Ben Rushbrooke, to focus solely on fabrication projects including gates, railings, balustrades, bollards,

2. Company History
B&E Fabrications Ltd has roots going back for over 35 years when Ed Pearson started his first business. Marbury
Landscapes undertook environmental improvement works for local authorities and utility companies and soon
became recognised as a firm with a reputation for quality and reliability.
There had always been a requirement for the supply and installation of ornamental ironwork, the fabrication of
which in the early years was outsourced however, when the firm relocated to Preston on the Hill in 1997 all
fabrication work was carried out in-house.
The move to new premises which was equipped with the latest fabrication equipment gave complete control over
quality and programming and the range and quantity of work gradually increased.
In 2011 a change of name and legal status saw Marbury Landscapes become Marbury Constructive Solutions
Limited. This reflected the move from a landscaping background to one with an external works contracting base
carrying out a wide range of projects not only on the ground but also to the external parts of buildings.
The fabrication projects included balconies and balustrades in stainless steel, aluminium and glass, structural
steelwork for buildings and pedestrian footbridges together with a wide range of gates, railing, bollards, barriers,
canopies and street furniture.
The steady increase in the quantity and range of work carried out at Preston on the Hill has given birth to B&E
Fabrications Ltd. The company is headed by Ed Pearson and Ben Rushbrooke who was Head of Fabrication with
Marbury for 9 years. Both were totally involved with the development of fabrication production with Marbury and
are committed to taking B&E forward as a company in its own right, building on the strong foundations based on
quality, reliability and customer service

3. Gates and Railings
From a single bespoke design and installation for an individual property, to providing gates and railings to large
numbers of tenanted houses for housing associations, B&E survey each one to ensure the best possible outcome
for both aesthetics and functional qualities.

15. ORNAMENTAL IRONWORK
Decorative panels are laser cut and then galvanised and powder coated to the clients’ choice of colour are
produced in house. They are usually commissioned by the client and many times depict an occasion or place
sometimes incorporating other materials like coloured glass.

27. BALUSTRADES & HANDRAILS
Many different designs are fabricated according to client choice both in mild and stainless steel. Simple handrails
to assist with disabled access and pedestrian safety are manufactured together with stainless steel and glass
balconies for exclusive developments.

38. BOLLARDS AND BARRIERS
We manufacture bollards and barriers for all purposes. The range includes retractable and drop down bollards in
both mild steel and stainless steel. Galvanising and powder coating to any colour of choice is optional. Also full
swing barriers from light duty to heavy duty depending on purpose with encased padlock systems to prevent
unwanted access. Vehicular barriers with height restrictors are also available.

44. ARCHITECTURAL STEELWORK
Fabrication to structural engineers and architects drawings specified in buildings and civil engineering projects is
undertaken in our well-equipped workshop. We can produce high quality steelwork to your exact specification.

49. STAINLESS STEEL WORK
Our highly skilled team manufacture and install structures fabricated from stainless steel. Serving both the food
and construction industries we achieve customer satisfaction with high quality, on time products.

54. WELDING AND REPAIRS
With both workshop and mobile facilities for on site applications B and E Fabrications can carry out welding and
repairs wherever they are needed thereby saving our clients’ time and inconvenience.
