It is funny how we all know that there is power in repetition and in creating strong habits. We also know that we should eat our veggies and drink lots of water for optimal health, but we don’t do that either. So what is the real power of repetition and why don’t we do it? So what is the power in repetition? Is it the same as building a habit? The real power in repetition, as far as this author is concerned, is that it helps us learn and master skills.

3. Problem: People Get Bored
• People love new experiences & the excitement
• Repeating tasks becomes boring…
• So difficult to practice & repeat

4. Solution
• Limit time spent on tasks
• Short duration practice rather than hours
• The key is consistency
• 15 to 20 minutes per day - then step away

5. Problem: Falling back
• When we should be surging ahead we fall back
• Concept know as a plateau
• You become satisfied with present tasks…
• Then trying to advance to a new level…
• You revert to a previous task & level

6. Solution
• Focus on previous feelings when you became skilled
• This helps you to look forward to new skills
