The asset under management (AUM) of passive funds and ETFs in Indonesia that track ESG-themed stock indices grew 320% from 2018 to December 2021, reaching IDR 3,062 billion. The number of ESG-related index funds and ETFs doubled in this period. An updated analysis showed AUM growth of 474% from 2018 to November 2021, reaching IDR 3,458 billion, with the number of products again doubling.
