This is our AS Media, planning for our post apocalyptic film opening, these are just our initial ideas.

1. Costumes & Makeup:
Ben= red
Beth= purple
Aly= blue
All Characters= green
~Walking boots, old muddy from walking through woodland
~Ben Is wearing face mask thing balaclava, belts strapped around him
~hiking stick
~Old backpacks (ripped?)
~old, worn clothes
~gloves?
~Scarves
~ Mud for faces/makeup to make us look rough

2. Plot:
Start- ~ Scene showing present day of Ben taking Beth, then cut to montage.
~Montage of close ups, fast paced with credits of actors names etc.
~Skip back to the past day of Beth and Aly on days before Beth was taken on journey to find last resource.
~Throughout journey, Beth’s character weary of surroundings, feels like they are being watched but Aly
doesn’t listen and gets irritated.
Middle- ~Chris does voice over, whilst watching Sophie and Olivia in some parts.
~Show the struggle of walking through post-apocalyptic world, hunger? Shelter?
End- ~Sophie and Olivia find the last resource.
~Potentially dig into ground to find it? Frantic , close up of hand holding ‘the last resource’ then close up
of each characters eye’s capturing reaction. Then Aly looks up and makes eye contact with ben ( back to
first scene) then screen cuts out.
Screen goes black and title pops up with dramatic music?

3. Characters:
Aly- Is Sophie, more independent one of two female characters, has to go on
journey alone once Beth is taken.
Beth- Is Olivia has a quite whiney attitude, stereotypical girl afraid of
everything. Is taken in first scene (in present)
Ben- Is Chris, who plays the antagonist because Sophie and Olivia are also
searching for the last resource, his identity is never fully revealed- until end
possibly?

4. Location:
Beth’s house
Skeby botts
Playground?
Woodland

5. Potential idea:
Do this as the first scene (to change the chronological order)
~Beth gets taken whilst on journey to the last resource.
~Chris gives choice between the last resource and saving Beth.

6. Props:
~old map and letter
~family photos
~lantern
~compass?
~money (to be stepped on)
~old phone? For montage in opening scene
~knife, with someone gripping it
