Beyoncé recorded a remix of the song "I'm Kissing You" written and originally performed by Des'ree. While the songs had similar meanings, their lyrics were different. The author believes it is only okay if Beyoncé received permission from Des'ree to record a remix since Des'ree was the original songwriter. Songwriters and singers should create their own original work instead of relying on altering other artists' songs without permission.
2. Copyright
• Beyonce and Desree sang a song.
• Desree wrote a song title “I’m Kissing You,”

“I’m Kissing You,” and titled it “ Still In Love (
Kissing You.)
• Both Lyric are in different word ,but still have
the same meaning in the song.
3. Top Story
Beyonce and Des’ree
• The top story that I am going to wright is about
Beyonce and Desree.
• British diva Desree Weeks co-wrote “I’m Kissing You”
with Timothy Attack, and she also performed the song
on the of William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet.
• On April 3, 2007, Beyonce released a CD title B’day
Deluxe Edition "Still in Love (Kissing You)". Issuing these
types of re-releases that include Latin remixes and a
new song their label so that they can go cut some new
tracks with Jay Z.
4. My Opinion
• My opinion is that unless if Beyonce got
permission from Desree than its okay!
• Also if isn’t written from her Desree wrote it
and song write and singing should do there
own bit.
• The song can have the same beat but must
should be different lyrics.
5. End
• In the end of all the happening I think it would
be good to stop copyright on singers.
• They should write there own songs and from
personal happenings or love anything besides
someone else's work or stuff.
