Positive pressure ventilation systems help oxygen enter the lungs by pushing air into the respiratory tract using pressure, rather than relying on negative pressure from breathing muscles. There are different types of positive pressure ventilation that can be applied non-invasively such as CPAP and BiPAP. These systems are useful for indications where normal breathing is compromised.
