SEAMLESS CONNECTIONS
A client had a precedent house, the Stahl House: Case Study #22, that they
asked to be used as inspiration while building their house. With the idea of
continuity, seamless edges, and the mid-century modernism style the house
shown is a representation of a great entertainment house that brings in lots
of natural light. It also uses very naturalistic materials to bring the outside
into the home for a more industrial take on the mid-century modernism look.

HISTORIC MODERNISM
A family in Lincoln was ready to place a house on their property to help students,
or college aged kids, find a historical yet new atmosphere to rent. By remodeling

4. DIVIDED TRANQUILITY
A family, thriving for some extra privacy gains this sense of division
by the simplistic detailing and divisions of space throughout the
household. By having separate areas to engage in their own intimate
recreational time, this family is more relaxed and tranquil than ever.

ROCKBROOK ELEMENTARY PROJECT
The elementary schools of the future demands atmosphere that embraces creation and
innovation. By creating this school based off an ant hill it challenges the design and realm
of openness, interesting corridor openings, along with more transparency and natural
lighting. Like an anthill, that may have many entrances, the same is for Rockbrook. As the
students enter the space, they will be able to break out into different pods and venture
to sub-pods within those pod spaces, creating a more diversified learning environment
to incorporate the four guiding principles in numerous ways. Most importantly, students
and teachers have the opportunity to learn and create together with the integration of
movable walls within the classrooms and learning environments, just like ants in their colony.

7. JEWELRY STORE PROJECT
Infinite Jewelry and Treasures gives an atmosphere with technological ad-
vances to cater to the needs of each guest. Employees are able to check
in guests, and help them research the product they are looking for right
as they walk into the different divisions of the store. The main goal for our
store is to make sure the guest feels at home, relaxed, and one-in-a-million.

The sales floor is displayed in a very classic and specific way to be tailored
to the infinite possibilities, trends, styles, and essential items our guests
are looking for. The sales floor includes private consultation areas for the
public and regular customers, and are tailored to the customer’s needs.
Division of space is important for Infinite to give a controlled circulation aspect
making it possible to meet one on one with guests before they enter each space.
The enclosures and transition spaces will display the products the guest will
be able to customize, making the perfect gift for the one they infinitely love.

OFFICE PROJECT
Creating a work environment is more than just how efficient the employees
will work, but how it captures the essences of who they are. Take a walk
down the red brick hallways to find the real meaning of what their job is and
find out what makes Nebraska the “Good Life”. Throughout this project, the
flow is made up of different boundaries to give the appropriate amount of
privacy and public spaces for the employees of this company. Throughout
each space, there are different themes relating to the departments that
each works to give a visual impact and symbolism of the work that they do.

PROJECT IMPRINT
“Giving individuals a safe, welcoming, transitional space to learn
necessary life skills to succeed in life.” This group project gave us
the opportunity to create a logo for our transitional home, along
with picking a color palette we saw fit for our group of choice.
