Raul Abundis is an architect from Valencia, Spain who has worked on various projects in Mexico and Spain between 2012-2019. Some of his projects include designing an Olympic training center in Valencia, remodeling a market in Toluca, and designing multiple residential house models throughout Mexico. He has specialized in the design of residential districts, interiors, and commercial renovations.

2. OLIMPIC TRAININGCENTER
VALENCIA, ESPAÑA JAN 2012
PURPOUSE OFTHEPROJECT
Design a center with the requeriments that an olimpic training center needs for all the diferent diciplines
in the comunity ofValencia.
PARTICIPATION
Develop the swiming and diving area with diferent spaces for competitions,
practice, diving pool, relaxing hot tubs, spectators seats and locker rooms.
This was a workshop project with a teamwork of five people, this project had
the purpouse to develop a training space for the Valencian people.
The plan and results was presented in front of the school board and some of
the Valencia’sgovermentmembers.

3. MERCADO JUAREZ
TOLUCA, ESTADO DE MÉXICO MAR 2013
PURPOUSE OFTHEPROJECT
Remodel one of the local markets of the city of Toluca, this market is one of the
largest of the reigon and has diferent areas acording to the product you need to
aquire.
PARTICIPATION
This project was a competition between universities of the Toluca Valley’s region,
the object of this competition was to involve students in the develop of the city.
In this project I made a plan for the integration of new spaces that can help the
order of the products and the needs of the people, also improve some spaces for
the recreation of the people and making a save space for the habitants of the
Toluca Valley’sregion.
RESULTS
In this competition I made it to the top 20 of the entire region and get an space in
MUMCI (local museum) for the exposition of the new city projects.

4. TEATROQUIMERA
METEPEC, ESTADODE MÉXICO JAN 2014-JUL2015
HISTORY
The town of Metepec has been called “Pueblo Magico” (magic town) by the
Mexican goberment in September 2012, this titlerecognize the moost beutiful
towns in México who has historic and cultural value.
One of the most important festivals that this town offers is the Quimera Festival
which presents expositions of sculpture and painting and a market for the local
artesans; also they offer music, theater numbers and dancing shows.
PURPOUSE OFTHEPROJECT
This festival brings culture and art in many forms to the comunity but they need a
space where the music, theater and dance numbers can have place so the
goverment decide to built a townTheater.
PARTICIPATION
I had the fortune to participate in this project from the very begining; it all starts
with the desing and concept, the architectural project,the develop to the
executive project until the end of the works in site.
The main task i had was to develop the gradery with the apropiate acustic studio,
the design and funcionalism for the tramoya and also the solution for the cover of
the gradery which in first concept it will be an open space the goverment decide to
cover with a tensilestructure.

5. CHRYSLERAGENCY
TOLUCA, ESTADO DE MÉXICO DIC 2014
PURPOUSE OFTHEPROJECT
The previous design of the agency was old and does not fulfill with the new image of the brand, Chrysler ask
to the owner of the agency to remodel the agency and apply the new image of the company.
PARTICIPATION
I was the leader architect of this remodel project,the task was to modify all the front to make it look like the
standard image that the brandindicates.
I had to serch for new materials, solve structural modifications, and apply the new standard settings in the
desing; also make sure that all the indications were apply in site.

6. SANTA FEHOUSE 1
SAN MATEO, ESTADODE MÉXICO MAY 2015
PURPOUSE OFTHEPROJECT
Desing a model type house for a residencial private district,in this district al
the houses had the same desing and size of the site.
PARTICIPATION
I develop the entire desing of the houses, the plan of the site lotification to
the desing of the house completing the needs of the architecturalprogram.

PARTICIPATION
Develop the interiors project for some areas of the two tower building call
Vista Verde,the areas where apartment type 1, Pent House, Buisiness Center,
Main Lobby,recreationspaces.

9. REHERSAL STUDIO
CONDESA, CIUDAD DE MÉXICO JUN 2016
PROJECT
Nathalia Lafourcade, is an important mexican singer,she aquired an old apartment in condesa, an old
neighbourhood that in the lastest years have become very famous among young artist and foreigners.
This apartment main funcion was to became a rehersal studio for the tours and concerts, the theme was the
studio but also an ofice space, relaxing area, kitchen and dinning space.
The style she request was vintage vibre with some new fourniture, and some mexican 80’s culture that were
reflected in colors and materials, this project tasks was the desing and the develop of the executive project
for theirconstruction.

ZINACANTEPEC, ESTADO DE MÉXICO MAY 2018
PURPOUSE OFTHEPROJECT
Design a model type house for a residential private district,the idea of this design is to improve the design
type of CasasARA, we need to had two options of fronts for the same house.
PARTICIPATION
Develop the entire design and pre-project idea.

11. FINCA 2.0
OCOYOACAC, ESTADO DE MÉXICO DEC 2018
PURPOUSE OFTHEPROJECT
Design a model type house for a residential private district,the idea of this design is to improve the design
type of CasasARA, based on the new requirements of different type of fronts for the same prototype, we
develop a new design for the same architectural program with a brand new image for the incoming
districts.
PARTICIPATION
Develop the entire design and pre-project idea.
