H&M Office, Shanghai - 8000sqm
AUG 2012 - DEC 2012
Interior design proposal, realised
Role: Lead Designer
The concept of H&M’s new office comes
from the street style the brand stands
for. Concrete, wood and other materials
create this industrial feeling.
We designed an open-plan office to
capitalise natural lighting within the
office. The design encourages staff to
participate in social activities and to
relax in the break-out spaces.

SEPT 2013
Interior design proposal
We developed a design proposal for
the renovation of TBWA/MAL’s office
space. Because of the rectangular shape
of the building all furniture was put on
an angle to make the interior more fun!
Their corporate colours were used to
create contrast with the white walls and
ceilings.

HENKES Restaurant, Shanghai - 600sqm
JAN 2012 - APR 2012
Interior design development, realised
Role: Design and Technical Assistant
Henkes Restaurant has three different
dining concepts; a coffee and breakfast
place, a high-end restaurant and a
Japanese sushi bar. In order to fit these
three concepts in one restaurant, each
area was designed with unique features
to distinguish them from the cuisines.

SCA Office, Shanghai - 2500sqm
NOV 2012 - MAY 2013
Interior design proposal, realised
Role: Lead Designer
We wanted to bring some of the fresh
and lively Swedish nature inside by
using natural and light materials. To give
the office a more energetic character,
we used their company colours to paint
on columns and walls.
Choosing LED lights, 100% recyclable
carpet and living green walls makes this
projects environmentally friendly.

Leidsche Rijn Parking Lot Parking, The Netherlands - 10000sqm
AUG 2014 - OCT 2014
Interior/concept design proposal
Role: Designer
In combination with an outdoor
shopping area an underground parking
lot had to be designed. My task was
to make a design that was functional,
so clients could easily find their way
back to their cars, and it also needed to
resemble the aesthetics of the shopping
centre above.

Qing Long Lake Office Office, Beijing - 15000sqm
SEPT 2010 - FEB 2011
Architectural design proposal
Role: Design and Technical Assistant
A new building which functions as
office, hotel, restaurant and exhibition
space had to be designed.
The concept of the Chinese courtyard
was implemented with the help of a
Feng Shui Master.

UNILEVER Office, Tianjin - 2000sqm
JULY 2013 - SEPT 2013
Interior design proposal
Role: Lead Designer
Drawing on the soft shapes of the
Unilever logo, we created a design
concept based on organic shapes found
in nature.
Shapes and patterns play an important
role, they naturally fit together
throughout the office like a giant puzzle.

VOLVO Office, Shanghai - 3500sqm
JUL 2012 - SEPT 2012
Interior design development, realised
Role: Lead Designer
The design is based on Volvo’s
corporate guidelines and partly on the
thoughts and experiences that Swedish
Volvo drivers have.
Blue glass, for offices or meeting rooms,
is used to break the clarity of the white
furniture and the clear glass.

BEHR PAINT Office, Shanghai - 250sqm
APR 2012 - JUL 2012
Interior design proposal, realised
Role: Lead Designer
A small office project was the first of
many working at Muraya.
The client, being a paint company, gave
us the opportunity to play around with
colours. We created a big coloured wall
at the entrance of the showroom. Pop-up
colours were used in the pantry area.

RESIDENTIAL RENOVATION Bonheiden - 300sqm
FEB 2010 - APR 2010
Interior design proposal
Role: Design and Technical Intern
A residential renovation was one of
the projects I worked on during my
internship.
We selected new furniture and
optimised the layout of the bathroom.
I worked on the 3D visualisation so the
client could get a better understanding
of the space.
