LIVING ROOM
This living room is designed in three different
kinds of design styles which includes asian
,contemporary with a bit of vintage style
furniture to it.
The living room consists of a drawing room for
intimate conversation and a dining space
over looking the valley view outside the full
height windows and a cozy reading area
which is placed below the raw concrete stairs
which leads to other floors of the house. The
living room is designed in biege color
pallete with an accent of crimson which is
created by the accessories used.

CRAZY SHOES
The process of ice formation to its crystalline
state is the concept chosen to design the
exhibition space. Taken into account the
irregularities and unique forms of ice crystals,
the enhancement of color, form and texture
plays an important role in the development of
concept and in designing the space.
With all the new technology equipments like
interactive flooring, display units and light
systems, the space is designed. The space is
maintained white and blue as it replicates
the water and ice.

FIRE ROOM
The fire room gives a dramatic look with white
furniture and orange color scheme. Highlights
like cushions, accent pieces etc are added to
give the feel of fire. Keeping into account the
rising nature of the flame, the room is
designed.
The room has a living area with a fire place,
bar, wardrobe space which includes space
for luggage, dressing and a safety locker,
library abd a bed space with an automated
tv which opens out and slides down.

The water room gives a dramatic look with
white furniture and blue color scheme.

BANGALORE
Reformation of a 19th century indian house to
a classical modern indian house. The flooring
and walls were left untouched to maintain the
classical feel of the residence. The furniture
used were modern and simple, suttle and cozy
looking for the interiors.
The merge of bothe the styles gave a new
dramatic definition to the whole space. The
wall mural in the living room is of slate stone
and is complimented with gold floral
patterns according to the patterns on the tv
unit wall paper.

APARTMENT -1
Modern apartment with strong colors
complimenting the walls and floors. Most of
the geometrical shapes are used to give a
homogeneous look. Dim and cozy lighting
highlighting the accent pieces of the furniture,
cieling and walls. Each bedroom has a wall
made of unique textured wallpaper.
Open kitchen, dining space with a balcony
makes the space look bigger. the living room
has a tv unit with geometrical wall panelling.

APARTMENT -2
The unique combination of contemporary with
a mix of nature are the two styles chosen to
design the space. Natural Bamboo is used as a
partition wall. A huge living room lit with cove
lighting and a dining space attached to it is
visually divided from a partition wall. A huge
closed kitchen according to the client’s need
is taken care of.
Each bedroom has one element from the
nature complimenting the whole space with
wall panelling, false ceiling, wall papers
highlighting each space in its own space.

ROYAL GARDENIA
APARTMENT
A typical indian traditional feel with floral
patterns, gold engravings with the space
maitained modern. The essence of the
tradition was maintained in each corner of the
residence. Wall panelling, false ceiling, doors
and windows all had floral patterns.
Though the colors used did not relate to the
country the texture and feel of the every
space made one feel it.

GANESH TEMPLE
The Ganesh Temple is the first temple which
you come across in the Spiritual place designed
for Lord Shiva in Choodhar mountain range,
Shimla, Himachal pradesh, India.
The Gopuram(roof) of the temple has the
concept of concentric circles and is built in
three levels representing the mankind and
the link between the god and common man
and the almighty himself respectively. The
temple is designed in white marble walls
and brown onyx flooring and the cieling is
clear glass thru which the sky can be seen.

NATARAJA DANCE PODIUM
AND THE CAVE
The shiva temple also consists of a Nataraja
dance podium where people can sit and
witness the Bharatanatyam dance done by
devadasis offered to the Lord himself. There is
a huge 15 feet high Nataraja idol placed in
the center of the poduim over looking the
dancers.
The people after witnessing the dance head
towards the main temple thru a glass bridge
and enter into a man-made cave which has
a lift and set of stairs which lead to the main
temple 180 feet above ground level. The
staircase in the cave is lit by glowing
handrails and the chantings of lord shiva
which is also lit from the inside.

THE CONCH TEMPLE
The Conch shape for the temple is adapted from
the concept of concentric circles and golden
spiral. The conch is scaled to 240 feet and the
platform where Idol of the lord is kept at 180
feet from the ground level. The Lingam (idol) is
30 feet in length and is showered with water at
specific intervals.
The conch is hollow inside which acts as a
duct for the water showered on the idol to
flow down as a waterfall and fall into a
man-made lake below. The conch is made of
construction strength concrete and finished
with white gloss lacquer paint. There is
bridge which connects the conch from the
mountain surface which also acts as a
structural support to the structure.

THE LOFT
Loft space is designed in modern Indian style.
Keeping in account of the bright colors of india
each area of the house has one color
complimented with white. Each space of the
residence is worked out with a different
concept which is inter related to each other,
making it look homogeneous.
Ground floor is treated has semi private
space has there is living area, bar, gym,
entertainment room and an office space
helping the clients for meetings. The first
floor is more like a private space, it has a
master bedroom with a master bath and an
outdoor jacuzzi space and kids bedroom
with an attached bathroom.

TIMBERLAND STORE
This is a concept store designed for the famous
shoe brand Timberland on a hypotetical site.
Timberland uses recycled materials in all there
stores which shows the customers the quality
and sense of social concern they have towards
the society.
The concept behind this design has arrived
from maintaining the rawness of the nature.
The features of a tree and the way its
branches and roots speard out is the key to
this design. The materials used in this store
are recycled and/or reused once or more. A
combination of glass and wood is used
throughout the store with some metal
elements to compliment the design.
This concept design has been sent to
Timberland headquarters in Switzerland for
approval of design and to roll out more
stores with the same features.

BUNCLUB (calicut)
BUNCLUB is a bakery cafe which is situated in
Calicut, Kerala. This is a 675sqft bakery cafe
which is a chain of bakery cafes planned
throughout kerala of which the first bakery is
placed in the ground floor of the Asma towers.
This is a complete space design with interiors,
branding and communication designed. This
bakery was inspired by the latest design trends
in all medium throughout the world.
Bunclub seats 32 people at a time with an
addition of 16 seasonal outdoor seating as
well. The bakery has a wide variety of food
with bun as a common ingredient, as that is
the hero of the bakery cafe. It caters to all
age groups with its unique and wide range
of menu. The placement of the bakery is in
such a way that its on the main road of the
city is in the heart of the city.

FESTIVAL MALL(calicut)
FESTIVAL MALL is a 2.44 lakh sqft mall of home
furnishings, designing and accessories. It is a
one stop solution for spaces like a residence,
office, shops etc. The mall consists of ground +
3 floors and each floor is efficiently categorised
and zoned according to the spaces in a
residence. There is a food court as well which
caters to wide variety of food items. There is 2
levels of underground parking system so the
customer will have a hassle free environment
when he enters the mall.
The Facade and interiors of the mall reflects
the qualities of the name of the mall. The
mall is designed in such a way that it creates
a festive atmosphere to the customer, any
time he enters the mall or even passed by it.
The facade is made out of glass and has
colour changing abilities. The sparkler logo
gives a festive touch to the mall and glows
in several different colours.

YOUR CENTRE (Diagnostic and
Imaging Centre, Calicut)
YOUR CENTRE is a diagnostic centre which is
coming up in Calicut, Kerala. This is a diagnostic
and imaging centre which will provide
treatments such as M.R.I scanning, C.T
scanning, Mammography, B.M.D, X-Ray
scanning and Ultrasound.
As a patient enters the facility, He/She will go
through a systematic process of welcoming,
briefing of the procedure, Pre treatment
preparations, treatment and post treatment
refreshments. The space is also designed by
differentiating each zone ranging from public
zone to critical treatment zone. Each patient
will be accompanied by a staff member of
the facility throughout the treatment
procedure.
The public zones are treated completely
different to that of the procedure rooms.
Each of these public zones are designed
with natural elements such as water and
greenery. The public spaces are well lit
and ventilated through natural lighting.

HOME FACTORY (Tiles and
ceramic showroom, Calicut)
HOME FACTORY is a tiles and ceramic
showroom is a product of THAI GROUP which is
a top brand in the whole of Kerala. The tiles
showrooms are spread all over kerala in a large
number, and each store strategically placed.
The stores are designed in a particular way
which imitates the look and feel of a typical
warehouse, which is closely associated to its
name and styling. These stores have there
own unique types of display units for tiles and
ceramics which are a signature design for the
brand itself. Each store displays a tile library
which consists of all there collections of tiles
from the lowest in cost to the highest of the
lot. The stores are categorised into three
segments which are Home factory XL, Home
factory Xperience and Home factory Xpress
of which XL are the large stores (2000sqft
and above), Xperience are the mid stores (
1000 to 2000sqft) and Xpress which are
small stores (below 1000sqft).

Playgrounds and courtyards were designed
in this institute ,comprising an area of 2
acres.
Each courtyard was worked out with a
different concept .One of the main
courtyard which had a concept of
concentric circles gave a dramatic feel to
the whole space. All the courtyards were
connected by a path which unites the
different concepts to make a
homogeneous feel.
The playground was kept simple ,with
plantations on the peripheral sides.
Pathways were designed in a simple
geometrical shapes which was linked
with the patterns created by the
landscaping.

ARTIST’S CUBE
The concept of the cube is evolved from Rubik’s
cube. The unit is segregated into 4 parts. The
cube is divided as :painting block, display block,
sketching block, outdoor block. Each bolck has
its own prominance.
The painting unit comprises of storage space
for easel, canvas, palette, paint tubes, paint
brushes and extra storage draws. The display
unit comprises of 18 automated trays for the
storage of paintings and LED screen display.
The sketching unit comprises of storage
space for sheets, laptop and printer,
adjustable table, glass tracing and a pul out
stool. The outdoor unit comprises of storage
space for camera, visiting cards, brochures,
outdoor carrying case and a pull out honey
comb chair for the clients.

COLOR CAN
COLOR CAN bed unit form is evolved from
a paint can. This is a multipurpose unit
which comprises of bed, study table,
wardrobe, storage and a play space. These
beds can be used by children from the age
of 7 to 11. It can be used by both boys and
girls.
Kids would enjoy this bed as one should
crawl inside to sleep. A pull on fabric
cover is given on top of the bed which
could act as mosquito net allso when
covered on all sides. An extra matress
unit can be pulled out from the below.
Each part is segregated equally, Space
for study, play and wardrobes are
given. The play area can be pulled out
seperately hence a kid can pull it out to
any space of the house. Extra space for
used clothes, shoes etc are taken care
of.

CONCEPT 18
The concept for this box was adapted from
RUBIK’S CUBE. The box looks very simple when
closed but when it is opened the sophisticated
design reveals the capacity of storage of the
box.
The name 'CONCEPT 18’ is given to the box as
it has18 different openings including a secret
opening in it. The box was designed for
multipurpose use and it is easy to carry. The
box can even be used as a centre table when
it is two sizes bigger than the original size.
There are 18 different openings in the box
which varies from each other. There are
openings from all sides of the box. Each
opening is given a groove which helps
anyone to open it easily. There is even a
secret opening in the box.

CORRUGATED CHAIR
This design is inspired by origami, paper art. The
single piece chair concept, is evolved from the
folding mechanism. Rectangular structures with
two diagonal pieces to break the monotonous
bulky feel of the furniture. No adhesives are
used in making the furniture. It could be folded
into a small box, hence it is portable.
The concept of this ottoman is derived from its
chair. It’s a single piece ottoman which is
folded in a unique fashion to form a structure
which could be used as an ottoman or a
coffee table or a stool.
This multipurpose unit is made out of
Corrugated Boards which could be carried
easily as it is light weight.
This is the single piece which folds to make
the multipurpose unit. The furniture is
made of a single board without using any
adhesive material.

PEACOCK LAMP
Concept of this lamp was developed from the
forms created by peacock feather. The shapes
were too organic for the design so it was
simplified into geometrical shapes. Simple
hexagon, triangle and square forms are
incorporated in the corner lamp ,which acts as
a focal point of the design.
The corner lamp can be used in many places
such as residences, offices and public places
as well. There are three different kind of light
sources in the light fixture each serving its
own purpose. The materials used are
chrome plated steel and oak wood frame for
the light fixture.

PEBBLE SEAT
The pebble shape is taken as a concept due to
its simplicity and uniqueness. Each pebble
varies in its size, shape and texture which is
portrayed in designing the Multipurpose seat.
Taking a pebble and working on its bulky
features were the main challenges to make it
look sleek, modern and usable.
Pebble seat is a multi-purpose unit which
includes table, three seater sofa, recliner and
a double bed with storage space. Magnetic
strips are used for the locking of the back
flaps and a stopper is designed behind to
hold the sofa backrest in a certain angle.
Piano hinges are used for the double bed
which is hand lifted by the user.

ROYAL SWING
Swings in India are a symbol of royalty, swings
which are commonly known as “Jhoola”.
Wooden Jhoolas with gold ornamentation with
decorative patters of nature and a few abstract
forms were well know in that era.
Making it look modernized with the use of
materials, simplifying the patterns and
retaining the traditional feel. Traditional Seat
complimented with modern supporting unit.
Brass linking units.The table can be separated
out from the supporting unit by hanging the
chains to the supporting unit. The back rest
opens out to become a large platform to sit.
The centre unit, glass platform rises up to
become a table and the side wooden
platform becomes seating space.The legs
fold out for it to become an individual piece
which can be used as a table.The links are
taken out for the unit to get separated out.

This is a full scale 15.6 inch laptop model which
has a ferrari concept. The back pannel is
designed according to the racing stripes seen in
ferrari Formula one car and so are the
accesssories such as the mouse and the
memory stick. The monitor of the model laptop
is detachable and so is the DVD writter, Each
key in the keyboard can be pressed and there
are slots for the memory stick. The weight of
the model is approximately 300gms due to
the use of lightweight materials. The wireless
mouse is also workable with actual buttons
and mouse wheel. The memory stick has a
detachable cap.
Materials used : foam board, mount board,
sponge, coloured handmade paper, felt
paper, OHP sheet.
MINIATUREMODELS
STUDIO APARTMENT
The studio apartment is model to scale 1:50 and
it consists of a double, kichenette, and a living
area with a balcony and a bathroom. The
concept of the project was to keep it young and
vibrant with colorful wallpaints and furniture
which were designed according to the concept.
The model consists of plenty of clear story
windows and frosted full height windows to
give ample amount of diffused natural light
with privacy to the client. The apartment had
vinyl flooring with the kitchenette having the
wooden flooring. The ceiling of the model
was designed in such a way that it could be
removed from the model to show the
interiors.
Materials used : foam board, mount board,
straw, coloured handmade paper, felt
paper, OHP sheet, frosted glass sheet.
MINIATUREMODELS
TILIA FLOWER KIOSK
This model was designed for tilia flower kiosk in
the scale of 1:12. Tilia is a brand which is
famous in all types of floral boquets and other
forms of gifts. The concept of the flower kiosk
was derived for a flower itself which was later
evolved into a life size kiosk.
The kiosk consists of a display cum service
window which is locked from the inside and a
refridgerator to keep the flowers fresh and a
sink and a workplace for preparing the gifts.
There is ample amount of storage in the
kiosk. The facade of the store is in the shape
of a flower petal and all four sides of the
kiosk is the same as it is a stand alone unit.

MINIATUREMODELS
TIMBERLAND STORE
This is a model of the timberland shoe store in
the scale of 1:50. This model consists of
maximum detailing and each detail is hand
drawn and hand cut with accuracy and
precision. The model is divided into four
different parts which are mens area, womens
area, accessory room and the billing counter
with the storage space.
The materials used for the actual construction
is wood, colored glass, tinted glass, concrete
and more. The materials used in the scaled
model are just indicative.

  • 5. INTERIORDESIGN CONTEMPORARY LIVING ROOM This living room is designed in three different kinds of design styles which includes asian ,contemporary with a bit of vintage style furniture to it. The living room consists of a drawing room for intimate conversation and a dining space over looking the valley view outside the full height windows and a cozy reading area which is placed below the raw concrete stairs which leads to other floors of the house. The living room is designed in biege color pallete with an accent of crimson which is created by the accessories used.
  • 6. INTERIORDESIGN EXHIBITION SPACE CRAZY SHOES The process of ice formation to its crystalline state is the concept chosen to design the exhibition space. Taken into account the irregularities and unique forms of ice crystals, the enhancement of color, form and texture plays an important role in the development of concept and in designing the space. With all the new technology equipments like interactive flooring, display units and light systems, the space is designed. The space is maintained white and blue as it replicates the water and ice.
  • 7. INTERIORDESIGN HOTEL SUITE FIRE ROOM The fire room gives a dramatic look with white furniture and orange color scheme. Highlights like cushions, accent pieces etc are added to give the feel of fire. Keeping into account the rising nature of the flame, the room is designed. The room has a living area with a fire place, bar, wardrobe space which includes space for luggage, dressing and a safety locker, library abd a bed space with an automated tv which opens out and slides down.
  • 8. INTERIORDESIGN HOTEL SUITE WATER ROOM The water room gives a dramatic look with white furniture and blue color scheme. Highlights like cushions, accent pieces etc are added to give the feel of water. Keeping into account the flowing nature of the water, the room is designed. The room has a living area with a water body, bar, wardrobe space which includes space for luggage, dressing and a safety locker, library abd a bed space with an automated tv which opens out and slides down.
  • 9. INTERIORDESIGN KOTA RESIDENCE BANGALORE Reformation of a 19th century indian house to a classical modern indian house. The flooring and walls were left untouched to maintain the classical feel of the residence. The furniture used were modern and simple, suttle and cozy looking for the interiors. The merge of bothe the styles gave a new dramatic definition to the whole space. The wall mural in the living room is of slate stone and is complimented with gold floral patterns according to the patterns on the tv unit wall paper.
  • 10. INTERIORDESIGN LAVASA TOWNSHIP APARTMENT -1 Modern apartment with strong colors complimenting the walls and floors. Most of the geometrical shapes are used to give a homogeneous look. Dim and cozy lighting highlighting the accent pieces of the furniture, cieling and walls. Each bedroom has a wall made of unique textured wallpaper. Open kitchen, dining space with a balcony makes the space look bigger. the living room has a tv unit with geometrical wall panelling.
  • 11. INTERIORDESIGN LAVASA TOWNSHIP APARTMENT -2 The unique combination of contemporary with a mix of nature are the two styles chosen to design the space. Natural Bamboo is used as a partition wall. A huge living room lit with cove lighting and a dining space attached to it is visually divided from a partition wall. A huge closed kitchen according to the client’s need is taken care of. Each bedroom has one element from the nature complimenting the whole space with wall panelling, false ceiling, wall papers highlighting each space in its own space.
  • 12. INTERIORDESIGN ROYAL GARDENIA APARTMENT A typical indian traditional feel with floral patterns, gold engravings with the space maitained modern. The essence of the tradition was maintained in each corner of the residence. Wall panelling, false ceiling, doors and windows all had floral patterns. Though the colors used did not relate to the country the texture and feel of the every space made one feel it.
  • 13. INTERIORDESIGN SPIRITUAL PLACE GANESH TEMPLE The Ganesh Temple is the first temple which you come across in the Spiritual place designed for Lord Shiva in Choodhar mountain range, Shimla, Himachal pradesh, India. The Gopuram(roof) of the temple has the concept of concentric circles and is built in three levels representing the mankind and the link between the god and common man and the almighty himself respectively. The temple is designed in white marble walls and brown onyx flooring and the cieling is clear glass thru which the sky can be seen.
  • 14. INTERIORDESIGN SPIRITUAL PLACE NATARAJA DANCE PODIUM AND THE CAVE The shiva temple also consists of a Nataraja dance podium where people can sit and witness the Bharatanatyam dance done by devadasis offered to the Lord himself. There is a huge 15 feet high Nataraja idol placed in the center of the poduim over looking the dancers. The people after witnessing the dance head towards the main temple thru a glass bridge and enter into a man-made cave which has a lift and set of stairs which lead to the main temple 180 feet above ground level. The staircase in the cave is lit by glowing handrails and the chantings of lord shiva which is also lit from the inside.
  • 15. INTERIORDESIGN SPIRITUAL PLACE THE CONCH TEMPLE The Conch shape for the temple is adapted from the concept of concentric circles and golden spiral. The conch is scaled to 240 feet and the platform where Idol of the lord is kept at 180 feet from the ground level. The Lingam (idol) is 30 feet in length and is showered with water at specific intervals. The conch is hollow inside which acts as a duct for the water showered on the idol to flow down as a waterfall and fall into a man-made lake below. The conch is made of construction strength concrete and finished with white gloss lacquer paint. There is bridge which connects the conch from the mountain surface which also acts as a structural support to the structure.
  • 16. INTERIORDESIGN THE LOFT Loft space is designed in modern Indian style. Keeping in account of the bright colors of india each area of the house has one color complimented with white. Each space of the residence is worked out with a different concept which is inter related to each other, making it look homogeneous. Ground floor is treated has semi private space has there is living area, bar, gym, entertainment room and an office space helping the clients for meetings. The first floor is more like a private space, it has a master bedroom with a master bath and an outdoor jacuzzi space and kids bedroom with an attached bathroom.
  • 17. INTERIORDESIGN TIMBERLAND STORE This is a concept store designed for the famous shoe brand Timberland on a hypotetical site. Timberland uses recycled materials in all there stores which shows the customers the quality and sense of social concern they have towards the society. The concept behind this design has arrived from maintaining the rawness of the nature. The features of a tree and the way its branches and roots speard out is the key to this design. The materials used in this store are recycled and/or reused once or more. A combination of glass and wood is used throughout the store with some metal elements to compliment the design. This concept design has been sent to Timberland headquarters in Switzerland for approval of design and to roll out more stores with the same features.

  • 19. SPACEDESIGN BUNCLUB (calicut) BUNCLUB is a bakery cafe which is situated in Calicut, Kerala. This is a 675sqft bakery cafe which is a chain of bakery cafes planned throughout kerala of which the first bakery is placed in the ground floor of the Asma towers. This is a complete space design with interiors, branding and communication designed. This bakery was inspired by the latest design trends in all medium throughout the world. Bunclub seats 32 people at a time with an addition of 16 seasonal outdoor seating as well. The bakery has a wide variety of food with bun as a common ingredient, as that is the hero of the bakery cafe. It caters to all age groups with its unique and wide range of menu. The placement of the bakery is in such a way that its on the main road of the city is in the heart of the city.
  • 20. SPACEDESIGN FESTIVAL MALL(calicut) FESTIVAL MALL is a 2.44 lakh sqft mall of home furnishings, designing and accessories. It is a one stop solution for spaces like a residence, office, shops etc. The mall consists of ground + 3 floors and each floor is efficiently categorised and zoned according to the spaces in a residence. There is a food court as well which caters to wide variety of food items. There is 2 levels of underground parking system so the customer will have a hassle free environment when he enters the mall. The Facade and interiors of the mall reflects the qualities of the name of the mall. The mall is designed in such a way that it creates a festive atmosphere to the customer, any time he enters the mall or even passed by it. The facade is made out of glass and has colour changing abilities. The sparkler logo gives a festive touch to the mall and glows in several different colours.
  • 21. SPACEDESIGN YOUR CENTRE (Diagnostic and Imaging Centre, Calicut) YOUR CENTRE is a diagnostic centre which is coming up in Calicut, Kerala. This is a diagnostic and imaging centre which will provide treatments such as M.R.I scanning, C.T scanning, Mammography, B.M.D, X-Ray scanning and Ultrasound. As a patient enters the facility, He/She will go through a systematic process of welcoming, briefing of the procedure, Pre treatment preparations, treatment and post treatment refreshments. The space is also designed by differentiating each zone ranging from public zone to critical treatment zone. Each patient will be accompanied by a staff member of the facility throughout the treatment procedure. The public zones are treated completely different to that of the procedure rooms. Each of these public zones are designed with natural elements such as water and greenery. The public spaces are well lit and ventilated through natural lighting.
  • 22. SPACEDESIGN HOME FACTORY (Tiles and ceramic showroom, Calicut) HOME FACTORY is a tiles and ceramic showroom is a product of THAI GROUP which is a top brand in the whole of Kerala. The tiles showrooms are spread all over kerala in a large number, and each store strategically placed. The stores are designed in a particular way which imitates the look and feel of a typical warehouse, which is closely associated to its name and styling. These stores have there own unique types of display units for tiles and ceramics which are a signature design for the brand itself. Each store displays a tile library which consists of all there collections of tiles from the lowest in cost to the highest of the lot. The stores are categorised into three segments which are Home factory XL, Home factory Xperience and Home factory Xpress of which XL are the large stores (2000sqft and above), Xperience are the mid stores ( 1000 to 2000sqft) and Xpress which are small stores (below 1000sqft).
  • 24. LANDSCAPEDESIGN KUMARANS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE ,BANGALORE Playgrounds and courtyards were designed in this institute ,comprising an area of 2 acres. Each courtyard was worked out with a different concept .One of the main courtyard which had a concept of concentric circles gave a dramatic feel to the whole space. All the courtyards were connected by a path which unites the different concepts to make a homogeneous feel. The playground was kept simple ,with plantations on the peripheral sides. Pathways were designed in a simple geometrical shapes which was linked with the patterns created by the landscaping.

  • 26. PRODUCTDESIGN ARTIST’S CUBE The concept of the cube is evolved from Rubik’s cube. The unit is segregated into 4 parts. The cube is divided as :painting block, display block, sketching block, outdoor block. Each bolck has its own prominance. The painting unit comprises of storage space for easel, canvas, palette, paint tubes, paint brushes and extra storage draws. The display unit comprises of 18 automated trays for the storage of paintings and LED screen display. The sketching unit comprises of storage space for sheets, laptop and printer, adjustable table, glass tracing and a pul out stool. The outdoor unit comprises of storage space for camera, visiting cards, brochures, outdoor carrying case and a pull out honey comb chair for the clients.
  • 27. PRODUCTDESIGN COLOR CAN COLOR CAN bed unit form is evolved from a paint can. This is a multipurpose unit which comprises of bed, study table, wardrobe, storage and a play space. These beds can be used by children from the age of 7 to 11. It can be used by both boys and girls. Kids would enjoy this bed as one should crawl inside to sleep. A pull on fabric cover is given on top of the bed which could act as mosquito net allso when covered on all sides. An extra matress unit can be pulled out from the below. Each part is segregated equally, Space for study, play and wardrobes are given. The play area can be pulled out seperately hence a kid can pull it out to any space of the house. Extra space for used clothes, shoes etc are taken care of.
  • 28. PRODUCTDESIGN CONCEPT 18 The concept for this box was adapted from RUBIK’S CUBE. The box looks very simple when closed but when it is opened the sophisticated design reveals the capacity of storage of the box. The name 'CONCEPT 18’ is given to the box as it has18 different openings including a secret opening in it. The box was designed for multipurpose use and it is easy to carry. The box can even be used as a centre table when it is two sizes bigger than the original size. There are 18 different openings in the box which varies from each other. There are openings from all sides of the box. Each opening is given a groove which helps anyone to open it easily. There is even a secret opening in the box.
  • 29. PRODUCTDESIGN CORRUGATED CHAIR This design is inspired by origami, paper art. The single piece chair concept, is evolved from the folding mechanism. Rectangular structures with two diagonal pieces to break the monotonous bulky feel of the furniture. No adhesives are used in making the furniture. It could be folded into a small box, hence it is portable. The concept of this ottoman is derived from its chair. It’s a single piece ottoman which is folded in a unique fashion to form a structure which could be used as an ottoman or a coffee table or a stool. This multipurpose unit is made out of Corrugated Boards which could be carried easily as it is light weight. This is the single piece which folds to make the multipurpose unit. The furniture is made of a single board without using any adhesive material.
  • 30. PRODUCTDESIGN PEACOCK LAMP Concept of this lamp was developed from the forms created by peacock feather. The shapes were too organic for the design so it was simplified into geometrical shapes. Simple hexagon, triangle and square forms are incorporated in the corner lamp ,which acts as a focal point of the design. The corner lamp can be used in many places such as residences, offices and public places as well. There are three different kind of light sources in the light fixture each serving its own purpose. The materials used are chrome plated steel and oak wood frame for the light fixture.
  • 31. PRODUCTDESIGN PEBBLE SEAT The pebble shape is taken as a concept due to its simplicity and uniqueness. Each pebble varies in its size, shape and texture which is portrayed in designing the Multipurpose seat. Taking a pebble and working on its bulky features were the main challenges to make it look sleek, modern and usable. Pebble seat is a multi-purpose unit which includes table, three seater sofa, recliner and a double bed with storage space. Magnetic strips are used for the locking of the back flaps and a stopper is designed behind to hold the sofa backrest in a certain angle. Piano hinges are used for the double bed which is hand lifted by the user.
  • 32. PRODUCTDESIGN ROYAL SWING Swings in India are a symbol of royalty, swings which are commonly known as “Jhoola”. Wooden Jhoolas with gold ornamentation with decorative patters of nature and a few abstract forms were well know in that era. Making it look modernized with the use of materials, simplifying the patterns and retaining the traditional feel. Traditional Seat complimented with modern supporting unit. Brass linking units.The table can be separated out from the supporting unit by hanging the chains to the supporting unit. The back rest opens out to become a large platform to sit. The centre unit, glass platform rises up to become a table and the side wooden platform becomes seating space.The legs fold out for it to become an individual piece which can be used as a table.The links are taken out for the unit to get separated out.
  • 34. MINIATUREMODELS FERRARI LAPTOP This is a full scale 15.6 inch laptop model which has a ferrari concept. The back pannel is designed according to the racing stripes seen in ferrari Formula one car and so are the accesssories such as the mouse and the memory stick. The monitor of the model laptop is detachable and so is the DVD writter, Each key in the keyboard can be pressed and there are slots for the memory stick. The weight of the model is approximately 300gms due to the use of lightweight materials. The wireless mouse is also workable with actual buttons and mouse wheel. The memory stick has a detachable cap. Materials used : foam board, mount board, sponge, coloured handmade paper, felt paper, OHP sheet.
  • 35. MINIATUREMODELS STUDIO APARTMENT The studio apartment is model to scale 1:50 and it consists of a double, kichenette, and a living area with a balcony and a bathroom. The concept of the project was to keep it young and vibrant with colorful wallpaints and furniture which were designed according to the concept. The model consists of plenty of clear story windows and frosted full height windows to give ample amount of diffused natural light with privacy to the client. The apartment had vinyl flooring with the kitchenette having the wooden flooring. The ceiling of the model was designed in such a way that it could be removed from the model to show the interiors. Materials used : foam board, mount board, straw, coloured handmade paper, felt paper, OHP sheet, frosted glass sheet.
  • 36. MINIATUREMODELS TILIA FLOWER KIOSK This model was designed for tilia flower kiosk in the scale of 1:12. Tilia is a brand which is famous in all types of floral boquets and other forms of gifts. The concept of the flower kiosk was derived for a flower itself which was later evolved into a life size kiosk. The kiosk consists of a display cum service window which is locked from the inside and a refridgerator to keep the flowers fresh and a sink and a workplace for preparing the gifts. There is ample amount of storage in the kiosk. The facade of the store is in the shape of a flower petal and all four sides of the kiosk is the same as it is a stand alone unit.   • 37. MINIATUREMODELS TIMBERLAND STORE This is a model of the timberland shoe store in the scale of 1:50. This model consists of maximum detailing and each detail is hand drawn and hand cut with accuracy and precision. The model is divided into four different parts which are mens area, womens area, accessory room and the billing counter with the storage space. The materials used for the actual construction is wood, colored glass, tinted glass, concrete and more. The materials used in the scaled model are just indicative.
