This document contains Kasey Coleman's engineering design portfolio summarizing several projects. Turbine Engine Project
For the turbine engine I was to make one section of the engine, either the high compression, low compression
or the turbine. I made two blisks, a small and a large, whose size dictated how many blades were on their
perimeter. The number of blades on the blisk was parametric to the size of the blisk.

Marble Track Project
For the marble track there had to be 3 pieces at least 8” long and with a 4” drop. There also had to be at least
one fork and some parts had to be open and some had to be closed. They all had to be hollow so that a marble
really could roll through. I also had to make the connecting links and the feet to stand on.

Helmet Project
For the helmet I was given a 3D scanned image of a head and I made a helmet with a separate visor that fit over
that head.

Pipsqueak Engine Project
For the pipsqueak engine I made 19 parts and imported a few screws and then assembled them all together so
that they can move when I move the piston. Most parts on the engine are parametric and will change
proportionately when other parts are changed.

Air Engine Project
For the air engine I again had to make about 15 parts and import a few screws and things and then assemble
them together. There had to be three different types of flywheel on the end. There also had to be an assembly
view and an exploded view.
