Product Design Trends in 2024 | Teenage EngineeringsPixeldarts
The realm of product design is a constantly changing environment where technology and style intersect. Every year introduces fresh challenges and exciting trends that mold the future of this captivating art form. In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
AI Trends in Creative Operations 2024 by Artwork Flow.pdfmarketingartwork
Creative operations teams expect increased AI use in 2024. Currently, over half of tasks are not AI-enabled, but this is expected to decrease in the coming year. ChatGPT is the most popular AI tool currently. Business leaders are more actively exploring AI benefits than individual contributors. Most respondents do not believe AI will impact workforce size in 2024. However, some inhibitions still exist around AI accuracy and lack of understanding. Creatives primarily want to use AI to save time on mundane tasks and boost productivity.
Organizational culture includes values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits that influence employee behaviors and how people interpret those behaviors. It is important because culture can help or hinder a company's success. Some key aspects of Netflix's culture that help it achieve results include hiring smartly so every position has stars, focusing on attitude over just aptitude, and having a strict policy against peacocks, whiners, and jerks.

Google's Just Not That Into You: Understanding Core Updates & Search IntentLily Ray
1. Core updates from Google periodically change how its algorithms assess and rank websites and pages. This can impact rankings through shifts in user intent, site quality issues being caught up to, world events influencing queries, and overhauls to search like the E-A-T framework.
2. There are many possible user intents beyond just transactional, navigational and informational. Identifying intent shifts is important during core updates. Sites may need to optimize for new intents through different content types and sections.
3. Responding effectively to core updates requires analyzing "before and after" data to understand changes, identifying new intents or page types, and ensuring content matches appropriate intents across video, images, knowledge graphs and more.

Takiej pralki jednak
nie ma, bo jakość i technologia kosztują. Właśnie
dlatego ważne jest, żeby wybrać pralkę, która
najlepiej odpowiada naszym oczekiwaniom. Jeśli
szukasz nowego urządzenia kierując się zasadą
najlepszej relacji ceny do jakości, z pewnością
Zanotuj, jakie to tkaniny
To poważne pytania, bo pralka
służy przecież do prania ubrań, więc to one są
ważniejsze od niej. Mało kto myśli o tym w takich
kategoriach.
Czyli
kilogram prania.
A+++ (najwyższej). Najlepsze pralki Bosch mają
wyniki nawet 10-30% lepsze do klasy A+++.
Jeśli szukasz pralki, która będzie zużywała mało
prądu, sprawdzaj zużycie energii, a nie klasę
efektywności. Dopiero kiedy znajdziesz dwie
podobne pralki, sprawdź, która z nich jest
bardziej wydajna porównując klasy energetyczne.
Zużycie wody
Zużycie wody, podobnie jak zużycie energii (klasy
energetyczne), liczy się rocznie na 220 prań
o różnych załadunkach i w różnych programach
prania.
do prania.
Czy wiesz, że…

W praktyce niezwykle trudno załadować pralkę do
pełna. Ponieważ pralka pobiera wodę i energię
Niektórzy producenci wykorzystują ten fakt i zwiększają
i równo złożonej bawełny, żeby móc zmieścić ją
w całości do środka. Ubrania w domu zawsze
modele, mają bębny specjalnie przygotowane do
prania delikatnych tkanin. Ich powierzchnia jest
delikatna i ma opływowe kształty, żeby jeszcze
lepiej chronić delikatne tkaniny, np. jedwab.
Obroty
lepiej pasuje do grubszych i mocniejszych tkanin.
Z tą pralką możesz prać raz jedwab, a raz jeansy.
Jeśli w swojej garderobie masz sporo delikatnych
tkanin, szukaj pralki ze specjalnym delikatnym
bębnem.
Im większa liczba obrotów, tym pranie, które
wyjmujemy będzie bardziej suche. Warto też
pamiętać, że obroty powodują drgania, więc im
wyższe ustawimy obroty, tym bardziej pralka
będzie drgała. Dziewięć na dziesięć¹ pralek
kupowanych w Polsce ma obroty 1000 lub 1200
obrotów. Niestety większe obroty (np. 1600 na
minutę) to mocniej wygniecione ubrania i wstawiając pranie często zmniejsza się liczbę obrotów.
Wybrane pralki Bosch mają jeszcze lepszy bęben:
VarioSoft. Powierzchnia bębna przypomina
krople wody. Z jednej strony jest bardzo delikatna
i płaska, a z drugiej strony – stroma, dzięki czemu
Większe obroty to wyższa cena pralki – zastanów
się, jakich obrotów potrzebujesz.

też liczne otwory, które poprawiają przepływ wody w czasie prania.

7. Hałas
Pralki hałasują z jednego powodu – bęben
z praniem szybko kręci się wewnątrz urządzenia
i wprowadza je w drgania. Każdy choć raz słyszał
o pralce, która „skacze” w łazience. Im większa
pralka i im więcej załadujemy do niej ubrań, tym
większy będzie hałas. Najlepsze pralki mają specjalne systemy wyciszające.
Jak czytać etykietę
energetyczną?
Kiedy kupujesz dużą pralkę (o załadunku 8 kg lub
więcej) upewnij się, że jej konstrukcja będzie
niwelowała wibracje.
W 2010 roku Komisja Europejska wydała rozporządzenie,
które nakłada na wszystkich producentów pralek obowiązek
badania ich według tych samych norm i w takich samych
warunkach. Informacje zawarte na etykiecie energetycznej są
porównywalne między urządzeniami. Znaczy to, że w takich
samych warunkach różne pralki zużywałyby tyle, a tyle wody,
energii i pracowałyby z określonym hałasem.
Największe pralki Bosch mają tzw. Antivibration

9. Programy automatyczne
Pralki mają nawet po kilkanaście programów
automatycznych: inne do bawełny, a inne do
wełny czy tkanin delikatnych. W procesorze pralki
zaprogramowane jest na przykład to kiedy zacząć
grzać wodę, kiedy włączyć odpowiednią liczbę
obrotów, kiedy i ile razy powtórzyć płukanie.
Najciekawsze, niedoceniane programy to np.
(np. kilka koszulek i bieliznę) można skończyć
w 15 minut i efekty prania będą doskonałe.
W niemieckim Centrum rozwoju pralek w Nauen,
pod Berlinem, inżynierowie całymi dniami
sprawdzają nowe ustawienia metodą prób
i błędów. Dzięki kilkudziesięcioletnim doświadczeniom jesteśmy pewni, że w pralkach Bosch
programy zawsze działają perfekcyjnie.
Wybierając nową pralkę zwróć uwagę na to, jakie
tkaniny pierzesz i jakich od nich potrzebujesz
programów.
Programy do
odplamiania (opcje)
Opcje odplamiania w pralkach to zazwyczaj dodatkowy przycisk, który dostosowuje pranie do szczególnie ciężkich plam.
Kilka pralek Bosch ma świetne specjalne programy
do odplamiania. Jest ich aż szesnaście
i każdy dedykowany jest do innych plam, np.
cytrusów, zupek warzywnych dla dzieci, czekolady,
krwi czy wina. Wybieramy je do każdego
programu, bez względu na to, jakie tkaniny pierzemy. Dodatkowa opcja do odplamiania zmieni
ustawienia każdego programu tak, że będzie Ci
łatwiej pozbyć się najtrudniejszych plam.
Czy wiesz, że…
Czy wiesz, że…
Większość Polaków używa programu Bawełna, rzadziej MIX lub Wełna. Pralki mają różne programy najbardziej właściwe do większości

Tych dodatkowych
opcji można użyć prawie do wszystkich
programów automatycznych.
TimePerfect skraca czas prania nawet do 60%.
Z kolei EcoPerfect zmniejsza zużycie energii
nawet o 40%, ale wtedy pranie trwa dłużej.
W przypadku pierwszej opcji pralka musi zużyć
więcej prądu, żeby szybciej podgrzać wodę, a jeśli
mamy więcej czasu, wtedy możemy oszczędzić
energię. To tak, jak z jazdą samochodem – jadąc
szybciej spalamy więcej paliwa, a jadąc ekonomicznie, zawsze zajmuje nam to więcej czasu.
Dzięki opcjom TimePerfect i EcoPerfect to pralka
z programem Wełna i Super krótki 15.
i pranie idealnie czyste.
11. Dodatkowe funkcje
Grzałka
Pralki mają też mnóstwo dodatkowych funkcji,
które można mieszać z programami automatycznymi, np. Woda Plus, Mniej zagnieceń,
Pranie Wstępne itd.
Niektórzy producenci instalują w swoich pralkach
grzałki antykorozyjne. To zwykła grzałka pokryta
powłoką, która zapobiega osadzaniu się kamienia. Te powłoki są różne: ceramiczne lub pokryte
stopem metali.
Kosztuje ok. 35 PLN
12. Ochrona przed zalaniem
Sposobów ochrony przed zalaniem jest kilka.
Najbardziej popularny i najprostszy to wielostopniowa ochrona przed zalaniem. W tym systemie
pralka ma zainstalowany hydrostat, który bada
poziom wody. Jeśli jest jej za dużo, pralka
uruchamia pompę i pozbywa się części wody,
by nie przelała się na zewnątrz. Inną ochroną jest
np. blokada drzwi pralki w czasie prania.
Niektóre pralki wyposażone są w specjalny
system aqua stop, który zainstalowany jest
w wężu i odcina dopływ wody, w razie jego
pęknięcia. Ta nazwa to kopia systemu AquaStop,
który
dostępny
jest
tylko
w
pralkach
i zmywarkach Bosch. Nasz system AquaStop
zainstalowany jest w całej pralce i w wężu,
doskonale chroniąc mieszkanie przed zalaniem.
Jeśli czujniki rozpoznają jakikolwiek przeciek,
pralka momentalnie odłączy wodę w kranie
i uruchomi pompę, która z maksymalną mocą
wypompuje wodę z urządzenia. Bosch gwarantuje
100% skuteczności i dożywotnie działanie tego
systemu.
13. Na co jeszcze warto zwrócić uwagę?
Serwis fabryczny
Wybierasz pralkę na kilkanaście lat i będzie
Ci służyła znacznie dłużej niż okres gwarancji.
Większość producentów ma serwisy techniczne
lub współpracuje z lokalnymi serwisami autoryzowanymi.
Sieć serwisów Bosch obejmuje swoim zasięgiem
całą Polskę, a kiedy wzywasz technika, nie musisz
martwić się jak dowieźć pralkę do serwisu, to on
przyjedzie do Ciebie.
ważny, ponieważ przyznają go w głosowaniu nasi

Klienci.
Nawet nasze urządzenia mogą się zepsuć, choć
zdarza się to rzadko. Dlatego dbamy, by jakość
napraw była równie wysoka, co jakość pralek.
Technicy serwisu proszą naszych Klientów
o wypełnienie ankiety satysfakcji, które z całej
Europy wysyła się do instytutu badawczego MIFM
w Monachium. Tam co roku opracowywane są
wyniki. W 2012 roku, mimo naprawy zepsutego
urządzenia³:
• aż 85% Klientów poleciłoby zakup naszych urządzeń;
• aż 88,6% było zadowolonych z obsługi w serwisie.
Większość drobnych usterek udaje się rozwiązać
samemu w domu, po krótkim instruktażu technika. Dlatego uruchomiliśmy całodobową infolinię,
czynną siedem dni w tygodniu: 801-191-534.
Pod tym numerem można też zamówić wizytę
technika w domu czy kupić akcesoria do naszych
urządzeń (np. wspomniany środek do odkamieniania pralki), które wysyłamy do domu.
