Supervised a team of up to 8 Labourers and Steel Fixers, managing workflow and schedules to
ensure work was completed on time. Read and interpreted plans, laid and tied steel to
specifications, checked the cover and height of steel, and kept the Site Foreman updated on
activity. Liaised with Site Engineers and swiftly resolved any problems identified after inspect ion.
Highlights:
• On commencement identified flaws in the way work was completed. Reallocated tasks to
Labourers, which allowed Steel Fixers to do more tying of steel, all of which shaved 5 days off
the project and increased the profit margin.
