1. Drinking Water Facility and Health Problems
Polonnaruwa District face lake of Water problems
and 80% of people were in convenience of that.
Due to this situation number of Kidney patients
amount have increased. Generally every two days a
person will Die because of the Kidney problems.
Contain of Chloride is very high in the water it’s
above 2.5
In Polonnaruwa District paddy field is the most
popular agriculture and the farmer use be there, all
the time and drink water near to paddy field well.
Which shows the high percentage of the kidney
patients are Men.

3.  Some people have well in there own but the well is dry and the water
level is very low.

 People save the money through Cheetu to buy the filters.

family in the current situation is they facing so many economic
problems.
He use to take medicine in General Hospital in Anuradhapura
and take medicine per month. Every four days he will have to do dials at

He worked as a farmer now he was unable to continue
his job and don’t have enough money for his treatment. He have to dials
every four days. So that mean have to go seven days per month.
Therefor he have to spent lots of money for his travelling and dials
material.
Due to difficult and Health less situation his wife had left him
with the three children. Now he depending on one of his sister.

13.  They don’t have awareness how to maintain the medicine.
