He found the tomb on his last
season of funding. A water carrier
then found the steps to the tomb
and followed them. This led to
Tutankhamen’s Tomb and inside was
the mummy of Tutankhamen.
4. Why its discovery was so
important
King Tutankhamen’s tomb which was
discovered by Carter was undisturbed
by grave robbers. This led to a better
understanding of ancient Egypt.
Because a lot of tombs where robbed
they could not really gather
information on Egyptians where we
could not before. Such as religion,
beliefs, how they lived, what they did
and so on.
