1. NEW GAME
“THE OLD BEAR IS SLEEPING TIGHT”
It's a game for a large group of children.
One of them acts as a bear who squats in the
middle and pretends to fall asleep. The rest of
the group form a circle around the bear, walks
around and sing the tune:
“The old bear is sleeping tight,
we are afraid of him so we tiptoe around him
when he wakes up, he will eat us.
The first hour – the bear is asleep
The second hour – the bear is snoring
The third hour – the bear will catch us”

2. At the end of the song all the children
run in different directions as the bear
“wakes up” and tries to chase and
catch some other player. The one who
is caught becomes a bear and the fun
starts over again.
