Phase 2C – Schedule Advertise for Construction Bids – July 30th Award of Contract – Fall 2005 Construction Begins – November 2005 Street Restoration – Spring 2005
Phase 2C – Overview 24-inch gravity relief sewer from 135th north on Edgewater to 149th  Will bid two ways Open trench Boring
Option #1 –  One-Way Bypass Northbound traffic routed on three-phase detour Southbound traffic routed on Edgewater – one lane maintained Flaggers needed on some sections No on-street parking on detour route
Option #1 –  One-Way Bypass Phase 1 136 th  east to Lakeside northeast to 317 th  north to 141 st  west 138 th  bypass - 136 th  east to 313 th  north to 138 th  west Phase 2 One-lane maintained with flaggers between 141 st  and 145 th Phase 3 145 th  east to 321 st  north to 146 th  east to 324 th  north to 149 th  west to Edgewater south

Option #2 –  One Lane With Flaggers No detour Like last phase of Edgewater work One lane maintained around construction with flaggers
Recommendations City recommends one-way bypass detour Approved by TARTA and Fire Department
Access for Safety Services Police and Fire will have direct communication  with construction crews
Work Hour – Options Standard 8-hour shifts Less disruption for residents Work 24 hours Shortens construction period More disruptive to neighbors
Public Notification/ Communications Meetings with businesses and Police/Fire Point Shoreland Journal  –  advertising with map showing construction schedule and detours Run 2 times before start of construction Signage placed on Edgewater warning of coming detours (2 weeks prior)
Public Notification/ Communications Notification of residents – mailers or door hangers? Other recommendations from Committee Another public meeting prior to start of construction
