Students attended a lecture and practical lesson at the Mineralogical Museum in November. The lecture covered the distribution and uses of popular minerals. During the practical part, students observed samples of emeralds, amethyst, calcite, chalcanthite, chrysoprase, crystals, and malachite, taking pictures and notes to draw conclusions. The experience provided students with an educational lesson in mineralogy.

Sir Humphry Davy and his apprentice Michael Faraday both suffered chemical poisonings and eye damage from explosions during their experiments. Carl Scheele taste-tested the chemicals he discovered and died of mercury poisoning.

During their visit, they attended popular science lectures on monitoring brown bears, the periodic table, and geoparks. They also saw presentations of projects developed by high school students on topics in biology, geography, physics, and chemistry. These included a geography project on Mark's Towers near the city of Prilep and a chemistry project on a polymer foam formula and reaction. The visit expanded the pupils' knowledge of the natural sciences through the lectures and interesting student projects.

The group also visited the planetarium to learn about stars and then enjoyed spending time with friends in the surrounding area of Centennial Hall.

- 4. Lecture – students learned a lot about distribution and use of popular minerals. Practical part – students observed many samples of the minerals, took pictures, made notes and drew conclusions EMERALD Chemical formula: Be3Al2(SiO3)6
