It calculates the measured
reverberation time (RT)
against the space and
compares it to the
recommended reverb time
based on a set algorithm.
This allows us to use
appropriate sound
absorbing panels (based on
frequency bands) wrapped
in high quality acoustic
fabric to ensure that the
Noise Reflection within the
room is optimized.

Aecom - Abu Dhabi
With Acoustic Therapy we improve the
acoustic values and integrate design
with an artistic element to the space.
Aecom’s Abu Dhabi office needed this
solution. The artwork designed by
Aecom’s design team, highlighting
their very first contract in the UAE was
to be used as a feature. The original
contract is decades old and aged and
the essence was captured in the
design intent.
The panel was produced with acoustic
values as it is located in a passageway
with high traffic flowing through.

20. The GREENGUARD Environmental
Institute aims to protect human health and
improve quality of life by enhancing indoor
air quality and reducing people’s exposure to
chemicals and other pollutants.
PlumSheep has achieved the GREENGUARD
certification as well as GREENGUARD Gold
Certification. This certification was formerly
known as Children & Schools Certification,
which offers stricter certification criteria,
considering safety factors to account for
sensitive individuals (such as children and
the elderly), and ensures that a product is
acceptable for use in environments such as
schools and healthcare facilities.
Environment
PlumSheep is the first manufacturing
facility in the Middle East to achieve
GREENGUARD certification, which
contributes towards LEED projects.
The Ava Green program was created from
the need to recycle combined by my passion
for crafting. We upcycle all the waste we
collect from our manufacturing process:
Wood / foam / fabric / moss and produce
complementary accessories which is a small
contribution to better resource management.
