Liza saw her younger brother in the middle of the road, frozen
in fear as a speeding tricycle approached.Without thinking
twice, she dashed forward and pulled him away just in time.

From that day on, both Liza and her brother promised to be
more careful, and their parents reminded them of the
importance of safety.
C. Rising Action
One sunny afternoon, Liza and her brother went out to buy ice
cream at the store near their house.While walking back, her
brother suddenly let go of her hand and ran toward the street.
