Two of the general principles that I believe are extremely important are " do not alter the state of an electronic device" and "identity, seize, and secure all electronic devices, including personal and/or portable devices". These two stand out to me as not following proper guidelines can make the information gathered inadmissible. Also with the electronic devices any change in state can change all of the information. So following at least these two principles can help save the information gained.
Evidence requires that it is handled correctly, every step of evidence process is documented, and all devices collected are cataloged for use in obtaining any future warrants. Once this process is followed then begins the process of evidence collection from the network trace. With electronic evidence the manipulation or change of data is such a primary concern that precautions must be followed or loss of evidence collected could be the result. Even accidental data change can be a cause for that evidence to not be allowed in. Making sure all steps are properly followed or loss of evidence collected validates all concerns the invewstigators have.

In this chapter, we learned that deviance is a concern of modern policing.
The concept of police deviance includes both individual occupational deviance and organizational deviance. At times entire police organizations may be deviant. This occurs when the deviance becomes acceptable practice throughout the entire police organization. This means that entire units or sections can be involved in acts of brutality or corruption. It is often impossible in deviant organizations for individual members, however well-intentioned and honorable, to resist the “culture” of deviance that exist around him. Police misconduct falls under the umbrella of police deviance.
All police misconduct involves acts of wrongdoing that are unacceptable by federal and state laws, departmental policies, and procedures. Acts of police misconduct can be unethical or immoral, but yet not be criminal in nature. Society expects police officers to be people of character who will obey the laws they swear to enforce and not be law violators. One element of police deviance, which allows police officers to be involved in police misconduct is the “Code of Silence.” This code requires that police officers look the other way when they observe their colleagues involved in acts of misconduct.
Often, police misconduct occurs in police agencies when mangers refuse to recognize the existence of police involved in deviant behavior, or when they fail to take the appropriate steps to eliminate the deviance. Police deviance can include police misconduct such as accepting free meals, kickbacks, petty thievery, shakedowns, bribes, and providing protection for illegal activities.
Other deviant behavior by police officers includes corruption which, in some cities, can be a serious problem. Various forms of corruption exist such as taking money from drug dealers and gamblers to look the other way rather than enforce the law that police officers swear to enforce. Another form of police deviance is the “use of excessive force” by police officers—often referred to as “police brutality.” It is difficult to know how widespread and how often incidents of police brutality occur.
However, it does occur and the media periodically brings this to our attention. The “use of excessive force” is closely associated with “deadly force.” Deadly force occurs when a police officer commits an act that either causes the death of someone or had the potential of causing the death of someone. Over the past few decades, the need for computer technology has greatly increased. Users now turn to many forms of "computers" for daily tasks. Therefore, digital crime has also increased. Two factors that I believe have led to the explosive growth of digital crime
1. Identity Theft- Since computers are used for almost everything we do in life, many of us enter too much personal information into these devices. This personal information is now out there for hackers to retrieve and use in the theft of our identity.
2. Credit Card Fraud- An increase of online purchases and bill payment has allowed for credit card information to become more vulnerable to theft and/or fraud.
I believe these are the most common forms of digital crimes because they are the most commonly used by individuals.
Three types of digital crime include:
1. Cyber Stalking- Enforced by the FBI
2. Viruses- Enforced by The Secret Service
3. Piracy- Enforced by the ICE, FBI, and HIS
The federal virus genies in question can improve the overall public response to such computer crimes by identifying target areas for the reported crimes. Individual citizens can also assist in the fight against digital crime as well. To do so, when a crime is committed, the citizen should immediately report all aspects of the known crime to the proper authorities. Additionally, individual citizens can do things to prevent said crimes from occurring, such as; block and report cyber stalkers, install and use trusted anti-virus software and stay away from piracy websites.

Over the past few decades, the need for computer technology has greatly increased. Users now turn to many forms of "computers" for daily tasks. Therefore, digital crime has also increased. Two factors that I believe have led to the explosive growth of digital crime
1. Identity Theft- Since computers are used for almost everything we do in life, many of us enter too much personal information into these devices. This personal information is now out there for hackers to retrieve and use in the theft of our identity.
2. Credit Card Fraud- An increase of online purchases and bill payment has allowed for credit card information to become more vulnerable to theft and/or fraud.
I believe these are the most common forms of digital crimes because they are the most commonly used by individuals.

To do so, when a crime is committed, the citizen should immediately report all aspects of the known crime to the proper authorities. Additionally, individual citizens can do things to prevent said crimes from occurring, such as; block and report cyber stalkers, install and use trusted anti-virus software and stay away from piracy websites.

Organized crimes are criminal activities that are planned and controlled by powerful groups and carried out on a large scale. The FBI investigates organized crimes such as drug trafficking, sexual exploitation of children, prostitution, and alien smuggling are all organized and serious crimes. The FBI discovered years ago that organized crime groups engage in multiple criminal actives and have extensive supporting networks. Therefore, the FBI must think like criminals before they are able to capture criminals.
The FBI agents must remain proficient in areas such as terrorism, counterintelligence, cyber-crimes, violent crimes, white-collar crimes, and organized crimes. After years and experience of properly identifying these crimes, it becomes easier for FBI agents to immediately identify these crimes and capture criminals much faster.
Street gangs are “ongoing groups, clubs, organizations, or associations of five or more individuals that have as one of their primary purposes the commission of one or more criminal offenses.”
There are more than 33,000 street, prison, and motorcycle gangs members in the United States. The more violent and fear-inducing gangs in the United States at present are the Mexico-based La Familia and El Salvador’s MS-13. La Familia is a violent, heavily armed organization that is heavily engaged in drug smuggling, money laundering, and weapons trafficking across the border into the United States.
I do not feel the law enforcement strategies being employed against gangs are successful. In most places such as Honduras, the law enforcement officers fear gangs. Some law enforcement officers are forced to work for gangs. The gangs outnumber the law enforcement. There are prison gangs and once someone becomes a gang member, it impossible to get out. It is a life commitment.
All people that I can remember that were in gangs from when I was in high school are all deceased or in prison doing serious time.

The term “home,” can have several meanings to many different people. But most
people associate this word with their place of residence or where they seek refuge. Of all places,
a person’s home should not be a place they fear falling victim to crime, but instead, as a place
where they feel safe and secure. When a person comes home after a long day of work to discover
their home has been broken into and all of their prized possessions have been stolen, it is normal
to feel angry, and violated because that’s what it is, a violation. For the most part, burglaries are
a crime of opportunity. A burglar can sit and watch someone’s house all day and know exactly
what time they go to work and return home. According to the Texas Crime Statistics and Rates
Report, in 2009 there were 240,233 burglary incidents and a total of 995,145 property crime
incidents in Texas (“Texas Crime Statistics,” n.d.). Reports from 2012 are already showing an
increase in these numbers compared to 2009 (“Texas crime statistics,” n.d.). This is alarming and
neighborhood watch could be the solution. In 1972, the National Sheriffs’ Association founded
the Neighborhood Watch Program with the intentions of helping police reduce crimes in
neighborhoods (Campbell, n.d.). While the main focuses of Neighborhood Watch programs are
to prevent crime, they may also educate and strengthen the community.
Review of Literature:
Almost 2 years ago, residents of Salisbury, New Hampshire lost their police department
when their 2-man force suddenly resigned. Since then, they have been unable to fill the empty
positions, so the state police have been providing coverage for the community. Members of the
Salisbury community are now looking to create a neighborhood watch program, not to replace
law enforcement, but to enhance the coverage already being supplied by the state (McCrystal,

2012). The idea of a neighborhood watch program in this community already exists, it’s just not
formalized. Many residents already watch for suspicious people or behavior so formalizing the
program will simply give them someone to call when suspicious behavior or activity does take
place. Members of the Salisbury community have great reason to push for the implementation of
Neighborhood Watch programs. Not only is it believed to reduce crime, but it is also thought to
bring the community tog.

Criminal activities range from bloody violent crimes to crimes that do not present any physical threat or injury to the society. White collar crime is the topic in the heart of my research. White collar crimes can be defined as those crimes that result to financial gain through the use of deceit and persuasion. This type of an offense is very brutal and one offender could affect thousands and millions of people unlike violent crimes. Such crimes are committed by people with access to large amounts of money at their disposal and normally those that commit such crimes are people that one may not suspect, the men in suits and that is why people always fall prey to such fraudsters (Friedrichs, 2009). This research will focus on this topic pointing out why it is of interest, it further focuses on why white collar crime is becoming difficult to eradicate as the research outcomes. A reaction to this is on how best we can eradicate white collar crimes.
The research question is why white collar crime is becoming a challenge to control. The hypothesis in the topic is that white collar crimes gaining popularity and there will be such incidences in the future if something is not done. In addressing the topic, the research shall focus on literature on white collar crimes which will contribute to an in depth knowledge about white collar crimes.
There are so many scams of white collar crimes which range from intellectual property theft, insurance theft, identity fraud, business frauds and even frauds involving government officials. Several factors have contributed to the fact that these crimes have always existed despite efforts to track and hunt down the culprits. Finding out why these crimes have always happened despite their devastating effects like costing investors, wiping out savings and leaving families bankrupt as well destroying multibillion companies is the basis of my research.
To begin with, due to the nature of the crimes where blood may not be shed at all, unlike other crimes like murder, or drug abuse, burglary and gangster crimes, the society has ended up treating fraudsters with a lot of respect. To some extent, the society has even blamed victims for their loses arguing that it was their fate. Such perceptions have affected the way the law enforcement has ended up dealing with such cases making such cases fail to get the attention they should deserve yet they affect millions of people unlike other offenses (Braithwaite, 1982) .
On a different perspective, most of the police resources have been priories for violent crimes. Some cases involving white collar jobs are never priories and the rese.

Biological evolution involves genetic changes in a group of organisms. These changes occur on two levels:
macroevolution
(the grand scale), and
microevolution
(the small scale). On the "macro" scale of evolution, different species arise, live for a while, and then pass into extinction as new species arise to replace them (over thousands or millions of years). Microevolution involves small-scale changes within a single species. This occurs as populations respond to their own unique circumstances over a period of a few generations. Given enough time, microevolution can lead to macroevolution.

Because an individual's genes are determined at conception, individuals can't evolve. But individuals are part of a
population
that may change over time. Some individuals have
genotypes

Organized crimes are criminal activities that are planned and controlled by powerful groups and carried out on a large scale. The FBI investigates organized crimes such as drug trafficking, sexual exploitation of children, prostitution, and alien smuggling are all organized and serious crimes. The FBI discovered years ago that organized crime groups engage in multiple criminal actives and have extensive supporting networks. Therefore, the FBI must think like criminals before they are able to capture criminals.
The FBI agents must remain proficient in areas such as terrorism, counterintelligence, cyber-crimes, violent crimes, white-collar crimes, and organized crimes. After years and experience of properly identifying these crimes, it becomes easier for FBI agents to immediately identify these crimes and capture criminals much faster.
Street gangs are “ongoing groups, clubs, organizations, or associations of five or more individuals that have as one of their primary purposes the commission of one or more criminal offenses.”
There are more than 33,000 street, prison, and motorcycle gangs members in the United States. The more violent and fear-inducing gangs in the United States at present are the Mexico-based La Familia and El Salvador’s MS-13. La Familia is a violent, heavily armed organization that is heavily engaged in drug smuggling, money laundering, and weapons trafficking across the border into the United States.
I do not feel the law enforcement strategies being employed against gangs are successful. In most places such as Honduras, the law enforcement officers fear gangs. Some law enforcement officers are forced to work for gangs. The gangs outnumber the law enforcement. There are prison gangs and once someone becomes a gang member, it impossible to get out. It is a life commitment.
All people that I can remember that were in gangs from when I was in high school are all deceased or in prison doing serious time.

The term “home,” can have several meanings to many different people. But most
people associate this word with their place of residence or where they seek refuge. Of all places,
a person’s home should not be a place they fear falling victim to crime, but instead, as a place
where they feel safe and secure. When a person comes home after a long day of work to discover
their home has been broken into and all of their prized possessions have been stolen, it is normal
to feel angry, and violated because that’s what it is, a violation. For the most part, burglaries are
a crime of opportunity. A burglar can sit and watch someone’s house all day and know exactly
what time they go to work and return home. According to the Texas Crime Statistics and Rates
Report, in 2009 there were 240,233 burglary incidents and a total of 995,145 property crime
incidents in Texas (“Texas Crime Statistics,” n.d.). Reports from 2012 are already showing an
increase in these numbers compared to 2009 (“Texas crime statistics,” n.d.). This is alarming and
neighborhood watch could be the solution. In 1972, the National Sheriffs’ Association founded
the Neighborhood Watch Program with the intentions of helping police reduce crimes in
neighborhoods (Campbell, n.d.). While the main focuses of Neighborhood Watch programs are
to prevent crime, they may also educate and strengthen the community.
Review of Literature:
Almost 2 years ago, residents of Salisbury, New Hampshire lost their police department
when their 2-man force suddenly resigned. Since then, they have been unable to fill the empty
positions, so the state police have been providing coverage for the community. Members of the
Salisbury community are now looking to create a neighborhood watch program, not to replace
law enforcement, but to enhance the coverage already being supplied by the state (McCrystal,

2012). The idea of a neighborhood watch program in this community already exists, it’s just not
formalized. Many residents already watch for suspicious people or behavior so formalizing the
program will simply give them someone to call when suspicious behavior or activity does take
place. Members of the Salisbury community have great reason to push for the implementation of
Neighborhood Watch programs. Not only is it believed to reduce crime, but it is also thought to
bring the community tog.

White Collar Crimes
Criminal activities range from bloody violent crimes to crimes that do not present any physical threat or injury to the society. White collar crime is the topic in the heart of my research. White collar crimes can be defined as those crimes that result to financial gain through the use of deceit and persuasion. This type of an offense is very brutal and one offender could affect thousands and millions of people unlike violent crimes. Such crimes are committed by people with access to large amounts of money at their disposal and normally those that commit such crimes are people that one may not suspect, the men in suits and that is why people always fall prey to such fraudsters (Friedrichs, 2009). This research will focus on this topic pointing out why it is of interest, it further focuses on why white collar crime is becoming difficult to eradicate as the research outcomes. A reaction to this is on how best we can eradicate white collar crimes.
The research question is why white collar crime is becoming a challenge to control. The hypothesis in the topic is that white collar crimes gaining popularity and there will be such incidences in the future if something is not done. In addressing the topic, the research shall focus on literature on white collar crimes which will contribute to an in depth knowledge about white collar crimes.
There are so many scams of white collar crimes which range from intellectual property theft, insurance theft, identity fraud, business frauds and even frauds involving government officials. Several factors have contributed to the fact that these crimes have always existed despite efforts to track and hunt down the culprits. Finding out why these crimes have always happened despite their devastating effects like costing investors, wiping out savings and leaving families bankrupt as well destroying multibillion companies is the basis of my research.
To begin with, due to the nature of the crimes where blood may not be shed at all, unlike other crimes like murder, or drug abuse, burglary and gangster crimes, the society has ended up treating fraudsters with a lot of respect. To some extent, the society has even blamed victims for their loses arguing that it was their fate. Such perceptions have affected the way the law enforcement has ended up dealing with such cases making such cases fail to get the attention they should deserve yet they affect millions of people unlike other offenses (Braithwaite, 1982) .
On a different perspective, most of the police resources have been priories for violent crimes. Some cases involving white collar jobs are never priories and the rese.

Every person has a worldview whether he realizes it or not. What is a worldview? James W. Sire defines a worldview as:
[A] commitment, a fundamental orientation of the heart, that can be expressed as a story or in a set of presuppositions (assumptions which may be true, partially true or entirely false) that we hold (consciously or subconsciously, consistently or inconsistently) about the basic constitution of reality, and that provides the foundation on which we live and move and have our being.

Stated more succinctly, "…[A] worldview is simply the total set of beliefs that a person has about the biggest questions in life." F. Leroy Forlines describes such questions as the "inescapable questions of life." Life's inescapable questions include the following: "Is there a God? If so, what is He like? How can I know Him? Who am I? Where am I? How can I tell right from wrong? Is there life after death? What should I and what can I do about guilt? How can I deal with my inner pain?" Life's biggest, inescapable questions relate to whether there is a God, human origins, identity, purpose, and the hereafter, just to mention a few.
Satisfying answers to the "inescapable questions of life" are provided by the Holy Scriptures. The Holy Scriptures, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, form the starting point and foundation for the biblical worldview. More specifically related to our purposes, the apostle Paul reflects several components of the biblical worldview in his letter to the Romans.
The apostle Paul authored Romans toward the end of his third missionary journey, about 57 A.D. He addressed this letter specifically to the Christians in Rome. At the time the church in Rome consisted of Jewish and Gentile believers, with Gentile Christians in the majority. Paul wrote to the Christians in Rome in order to address specific concerns and challenges they were facing. While Romans was an occasional letter (not a systematic theology), Paul presents the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a very systematic fashion. The Gospel is actually the overarching theme of Romans as Paul spells this out in his programmatic statement in 1:16–17. As the systematic presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Romans is foundational to the biblical/Christian worldview.
Recognizing that Romans is not a systematic theology and does not contain all the essential truths that are relevant to a worldview per se, the apostle Paul articulates truths that are foundational to the biblical worldview. Motivation is the psychological forces that determine the direction of a person’s behavior in an organization, a person level of effort and a person level of persistence in the face of obstacles. Managers should be concerned with motivation because it explains why people behave the way they do. It can explain why a waiter is mean or nice, or why the customer service representative you are dealing with is helpful and understanding or rude and unhelpful.
Leadership is the process by which a person exerts influence over other people and inspires, motivates, and directs their activities, to help achieve group or organizational goal. Leaders are affective when they can unite a group to achieve a common goal. There are five types of power that a leader must balance. Legitimate power: the authority that a manager has by virtue of their position in an organizations hierarch. Reward power: the ability of a manager to give or withhold tangible and intangible rewards. Coercive power: the ability of a manager to punish others. Expert power: power that is based on the special knowledge, skills, and expertise that a leader possesses. Referent power: power that comes from subordinates’ and coworkers’ respect, admiration, and loyalty.
There are five key elements of group dynamics. Group size: the number of members in a group can be an important determinant of members’ motivation, commitment and group performance. Group roles: a set of behaviors and task that a member of a group is expected to perform because of his or her position in the group. Group leadership: leadership is a key ingredient for high- performing groups, teams, and organizations. Group development over time: it sometimes takes a self-managed team two or three years to perform up to it true capabilities. Group norms: shared guidelines or rules for behavior that most group member follow. Group cohesivenes.
