This document summarizes playground safety inspections from several parks. At Sycamore Park, the tallest slide was 6 feet with a 22 inch exit height, while swings were 9 feet off the ground. Inspections found violations of exposure standards at Winnetka and Reseda Parks due to bolts, rust, and tripping hazards. Mammoth Park was found to meet all exposure standards with low slides, protective surfacing, and no sharp edges. While materials were mostly smooth, small areas where feet could get caught were noted.
