It will provide images, presentations, mind maps, videos, games and exercises about places in Medellin, Colombia and activities there using everyday English vocabulary and structures. Students will be able to express ideas about the city's locations and what to do there.

Planing the blog
This blog aims to reinforce and improve the English skills of 10th and 11th grade students and adults through entertainment and independent learning. It will introduce places in Medellin, Colombia and activities that can be done there using images, presentations, mind maps, videos, games, and exercises. Students will be able to express their ideas and use new vocabulary and structures about the city's locations and what to do there.
Listening to neighbors’ stories
Mr. George, a 67-year old man who grew up in the neighborhood, visited a 4th grade class in Kilkis, Greece to share his memories of how the town used to be. He showed the students old pictures of his childhood home, the local school he attended, and a store he once owned. Mr. George recalled that in the past, before electricity, people used kerosene lamps and would socialize more in the central park. Both Mr. George and the students found value in sharing his recollections of the town's history.

Rechel H. Calibod is applying for a teaching position in elementary education at Cebu Technological University. She recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Technology and Livelihood Education and Special Education. During her studies, she gained experience teaching both regular and special education students through practice teaching placements. She is enthusiastic to put her knowledge and experience into practice to enhance her teaching skills. Calibod has included her resume and references for review and requests an interview.

María Gonzalez is a bilingual, single woman from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is in her last year of college studying to become a teacher. She has strong English communication skills and has led teams as captain of her school castle and hockey teams. Her work experience includes hosting, babysitting, and assisting students. She is organized, responsible, and enjoys helping others achieve their potential.
School of my dream 55
The school of my dreams would have no more than five lessons per day to reduce stress and help students better understand topics, with Saturdays and Sundays off to allow free time for hobbies, friends, and preparing for lessons. Each floor would have a recreation room where students could rest with sofas, music, and computers. Bad marks would not be counted if students redo assignments, and music lessons would teach students to play instruments to develop musical skills and taste.
Charlie Chaplin
Charlie Chaplin was born in 1889 in London, England. He came from a working class family and had a difficult childhood, working as a child laborer and losing his mother at a young age. In 1912, Chaplin moved to Hollywood to become an actor. He went on to have a hugely successful career as a filmmaker and actor during the silent film era, becoming an iconic figure through his signature character of The Tramp. Chaplin was influential in establishing the art of comedy in early 20th century film.
