To do:
- Gather equipment needed for photo’s: Cannon 450D, Cannon 50mm lens, 2GB memory
card.
- Define locations of curtain tribes: e.g. skatepark, college, train station.
- Gather research of photographer of similar genre.

When shooting:
- The 50mm doesn’t have a zoom on it, make sure you have a enough space to shoot the
subject as quickness is key when asking a stranger for their photograph.
- Preparation. The battery is charged, the memory card is empty and the manual settings on
the camera are estimated to the actual aperture and shutter speed settings.

What am I shooting?:
- Each ‘tribe’ that is mentioned on the UK Tribes will be covered in bulk, by this I mean the
category that an individual goes in will be covered.
- There are 5 main categories: Mainstream, Leading Edge, Alternative, Urban and Aspirant.
- Inside those categories are sub categories that name groups of individuals, e.g. in the
Alternative category there are Nerds, Skaters and Emos.
- I will shoot as many sub categories as I can but as long as I cover the main categories with
variety then my client and I will be happy.

Risks, dangers and staying safe:
- Have a friend with me at all times, that friend will have contact details to my parents.
- Make sure I tell my teacher and parent where I am.
- Weather conditions will be taken in stride, e.g. if raining I will shoot indoors.
- Theft is always a possibility, have camera strap round neck and if not using put it back in bag.
