The Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency (PLAEA) implemented a results-only work environment (ROWE) to enhance productivity and adaptability among its 240 employees, aiming to create a modern and engaging workplace. Following a successful pilot with 50 staff members, ROWE was adopted organization-wide, which improved job satisfaction and allowed for greater focus on student outcomes amidst financial and enrollment challenges. The initiative, led by agency leadership and CultureRx, emphasizes accountability and results over time spent in the office, ultimately serving the educational needs of the community more effectively.
