Pitch For My Short Film
- 1. FOR ETERNITY Topic : An Exhange
- 2. Story Follows the main character; Ella who is the ordinary student and the ordinary human living her life. She is a happy and simpatico girl with a lot to look forward to. However being the average ordinary human she is she lives and dies like anyone else – an ending that could come at any moment but what comes after ?
- 3. Characters ELLA – She is a joyful and bubbly character, representing the normal teenage girl who lives with her Mum. SEB – He is Ella’s friend, he is a cool and chill guy – who can now drive and is happy he can now hang out with friends and can drive anywhere. REAPER – A dark and mysterious character who vouches for after life; and what ever happens after death.
- 4. Atmosphere & Aesthetics The film takes place in the normal world, but accompanied by a dark undertone throughout the film; this can be helped by low key darker lighting and possibly being filmed in black and white.
- 5. Sound There will be much ambient sound along the storyline in the background, such sound effects will be implemented throughout. A key part is the car crash, as after the screen turns black there will be crashes and screams to portray the fact they have been involved in an accident. In the final shots in the dark room the only thing filling the silence will be a tick tock as after death she will be there forever, in nothingness. The clock sound beinga reminder how our times are never quite over.
