Traditional Handicraft has always been an integral part of craft domain of any region. Among the vibrant Indian handicrafts, wood painting is an important horizon of the traditional art-forms. Throughout the time, wood painting has been done by human hands, but the changing global dynamics motivates for modification in painting method to make it more convenient and feasible. Keeping in view the traditional design and development technique may be replaced by Computer Aided Design. In this study, digital contrive of traditional motifs is purposed to regenerate the traditional wood handicraft resulting to reduced response time for sampling and product development.
