Beyonce re-creation
Vicky and I replicated a photo of Beyonce for a coursework assignment. We had our friend Georgia model as she had similar hair to Beyonce. We applied makeup and styled her hair to match Beyonce's appearance in the photo. It took several attempts and adjustments to the lighting, hair, and Georgia's positioning to accurately recreate the photo. The final picture was edited to black and white in Instagram and the contrast was adjusted in Microsoft Office to further match the original photo.

These skills helped with the main magazine project. Filming Progression
We spent our first filming session in the studio experimenting with different lighting arrangements and camera shots to establish a style for our music video. Four adjustable studio lights were positioned behind the drummer to create a silhouette effect with dark tones. We explored different camera positions around the drummer to get varied shots without moving the lights. A spotlight was also tested to create silhouette effects for singing parts and to add more style, though it did not fit the music genre well. Overall we were able to film different shots and angles to use without significantly changing the lighting setup.

- 2. Inspiration
- 3. Getting set up - Both Isi and I got ready for the shoot in the studio. I first wore red lipstick and Isi wore the pink lip gloss. This was we could get a range of different photos. We also had Isi wearing her hair up and I had my hair down so that we could get a change in most of the photos.
- 4. Taking the photos - We took the photos in the studio and used professional camera and lighting. It took a while for us to work out the perfect intensity for us to have the flash on to get the correct coloured photos that we wanted to achieve. Mia; as she is a photography student, took the photos of Isi and I. She took close ups of our lips, noses, eyes and faces all with different lipstick’s on. We took many photos in different positions so we had a wide range of photos to choose from.
