Day 2: Royal Palace, National
Museum, Wat Phnom & River cruise
In the morning, go for leisure at Russian markets
and central markets for your experiences. In the
afternoon, a driver who will take you for a tour to
the most remarkable sights of Phnom Penh will
greet you. First, head to the National Museum,
which was built in traditional Khmer style. It
houses the world's foremost collection of ancient
Khmer artistic, archaeological, and religious
artifacts from the 4th to the 13th centuries. Over
5,000 pieces are on display, constituting the
repository of the Kingdom's cultural wealth. In
addition, the roof space is home to a large bat
colony!
Continue to the Royal Palace. This palace dates
back to 1866 and was the last palace built during
the French colonial period. The same complex
houses the Silver Pagoda, named for the over
5000 heavy silver tiles that cover its floors. Its
original name is Wat Prakeo, meaning Temple of
the Emerald Buddha. In this temple you will view
a collection of Buddha's in gold, silver, crystal,
and bronze. As the sun begins to set, visit the
hilltop pagoda of Wat Phnom.
You will also experience a wonderful time with
our 1-hour boat cruise along Mekong River for
your relaxation after some days visiting many
places.

regime. Many people were killed and an
unbelievable way.

Ek of 15 kilometers a part from town which
you will experience a lot of more about this
horrible history. Take sometime to visit

Battambang. Upon arrival, you will be taken

French-colonial architecture. Even though
Battambang is Cambodia’s second largest city,

back.

Battambang’s countryside is what makes this
pleasant river town a real treat. The town is
situated along the Sangker River, a quiet and
small body of water that finds its way
through Battambang Province. It connects
the Cardamom Mountains with Tonle Sap
Lake and feeds the paddy fields with water
on the way, which results in Cambodia’s best
rice that can be found here, in Battambang
Province.
You will first head towards Phnom Sampeau,
meaning “Ship Hill” in Khmer, due to its
distinctive shape, and one of the few hills
standing out in this otherwise pancake-flat
plain. From the small temple on the top, you
will have a fantastic view over the typical
landscape of paddy fields and sugar palm
trees. Phnom Sampeau is home to the
notorious killing caves, which are cruel
reminders of Cambodia’s troubled past.
Serenity and inhumanity represented in one
place make this an interesting visit.

Day 5: Battambang Sightseeing-
Siem Reap
Continue to Wat Banan, situated between lush
paddy fields and beautiful lotus ponds. Your
guide will lead you through local villages and
farms on the way. You can taste oranges here,
fresh from the tree! WatBanan is an 11-century
temple on a mountain top. The climb is a short
but tough one, over steps that seem to have all
sizes. On top of the mountain, enjoy the views
over the beautiful countryside and wander
around the ancient temple, which is also home
to finely scented flowering trees. From here,
you can experience a fun ride on the famous
Bamboo Train, an original means of
transportation on the old train tracks leading to
Phnom Penh. A true rollercoaster ride without
loops!
This afternoon, take your own private transport
embarks to Siem Reap the Second Capital City
of Cambodia approximately 2-3 hours.

Ta Prohm is unique in that it has been left
largely as it was found: overgrown by jungle
trees and vines, with many parts of the temple
crumbling to the ground. This makes Ta Prohm
one of the most picturesque and memorable of
the Angkor temples. Your visit will also include
BanteayKdei, a Buddhist monastery from the
late 12th Century, and SrahSrang, also known
as the “pool of ablutions”.
From here, it is only a short hop to the most
beautiful temples of the Grand Circuit, like the
overgrown Preah Khan Temple and Neak Pean
with its artificial lakes. Return to your hotel.

Day 6: Angkor Thom, Small Circuit
temple
This morning, visit the ancient city of Angkor
Thom in an ecofriendly electric vehicle.
Angkor Thom was the last capital of the Great
Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman
VII. This city is surrounded by an 8 m high
wall, drawing a perfect square. Enter the city
through the ancient South Gate, an
impressive stone gate carved with Elephants
and four giant faces. On each side of the
entrance path a row of 54 gods or demons is
holding the sacred Naga snake.
From here, continue to Bayon Temple in the
exact center of the city. This 12th century
masterpiece is a study in grandeur and is
well-known for its 54 towers with enigmatic
faces representing the 54 provinces of the
Great Khmer Empire. The Terrace of the
Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King
are also must-visits as they are both known
for their intricate bas-reliefs.
This afternoon, explore the highlights of the
Small Circuit. Start your tour with a visit to
Ta Prohm temple, built in the mid 12th to
early 13th centuries.

Day 7: Bantey Srei, Angkor Wat
Early today, travel to the “gem” of the
Angkor area, the pretty temple of Banteay
Srey, which is best viewed in the warm
morning light. The so-called “Citadel of the
Women” remains the best preserved temple
in Cambodia. It displays some of the finest
examples of classical Khmer art as this small
temple is noted for its truly remarkable fine
bas-reliefs. Banteay Srey is unique in that it
is constructed of pink sandstone, which is
seen nowhere else in Angkor.
On the way back, you will have the possibility
to stop at local communities along the way
and your guide will help you to interact with
the local community to learn about the way
of life here. Seize the opportunity to taste
Palm Wine and Palm Sugar (seasonal) and
other popular local produce.
This afternoon, you will visit the famous
Angkor Wat by local tuk-tuk. Built during the
reign of King Suryavarman II in the early
12th century, it is constructed following the
model of the temple mountain symbolizing
the Mount Meru, home of the gods. Inside
the temple, the walls are covered with stone
carvings and bas-reliefs depicting Hindu
mythology and the wars Suryavarman II
fought during his reign.

Moreover, Angkor Wat is well known for the
more than 2,000 Apsara dancers decorating the
temple. Construction is thought to have taken
around thirty years of intensive labor. Today,
Angkor Wat is figured on Cambodia's national
flag as the temple symbolizes the soul of the
Khmer people. During sunset time, Angkor Wat
is less visited, and the Apsaras will shine in the
most beautiful light. Return to your hotel,
where you can enjoy the evening at leisure.
Enjoy fabulous dinner with Khmer traditional
dance show at Local Restaurant.

Day 8: Rolous Group, Tonle Sap
After breakfast, head out to the early Angkor
era temples of the Roluos Group, about
15km outside of Siem Reap. Roluos is the
site of the first town built by the Angkorian
kings in the 8th and 9th century and
consists of three main temples: Bakong,
Lolei and Preahko. The beautiful surrounding
countryside with its paddy fields and sugar
palm trees is very typical for Cambodia –
enjoy the beauty on a cow cart ride to
Roluos Pagoda, a great and fun way to get
in touch with rural Cambodia and its friendly
people.
This morning, embark on an interesting boat
trip on Tonlé Sap Lake, where you will have
the opportunity to learn about life on the
lake. Tonle Sap is South East Asia’s largest
freshwater lake with its size varying greatly
depending on the season, as it is swelling to
about 4 times its size in during the wet
season.

Why I travel
Having been bitten as the travel consultant for 6years by
tourism industry, I filled up myself with all great fun and
enormous experiences. I was born along Mekong River at the
remote beautiful village which was my lovely place in life.
Cambodia is a green land with cool nature and pure smile from
heart of our friendly people. I start travel around Cambodia
since I was 15 years old until now there are still lot of more
sites to discover.
My Most Amazing Travel Experiences
Doing fishing at Koh Rong Island in Sihanouk Ville was one of
my most wonderful ever experiences. I love fishing, snorkeling
and I’m finding way to learn how to do diving. We heated by
private boat from Sihanouk Ville for approximately 2 hours and
immediately we arrived at the island, we walked around the
island to interact with local Sok San village then we can start
doing fishing the rocky areas in island. It was amazing day trip
