back to 1866 and was the last palace built during
the French colonial period. The same complex
houses the Silver Pagoda, named for the over
5000 heavy silver tiles that cover its floors. Its
original name is Wat Prakeo, meaning Temple of
the Emerald Buddha. In this temple you will view
a collection of Buddhas in gold, silver, crystal,
and bronze. As the sun begins to set, visit the
hilltop pagoda of Wat Phnom.

Today depart by overland from the community
to Siem Reap. Arrive Siem Reap and transfer
to hotel for check and then transfer to visit
the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Angkor
Thom was the last capital of the Great Khmer
Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII.
This city is surrounded by an 8 m high wall,
drawing a perfect square. Enter the city
through the ancient South Gate, an
impressive stone gate carved with Elephants
and four giant faces. On each side of the
entrance path a row of 54 gods or demons is
holding the sacred Naga snake. From here,
continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center
of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a
study in grandeur and is well-known for its 54
towers with enigmatic faces representing the
54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. The
Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of
the Leper King are also must-visits as they are
both known for their intricate bas-reliefs .Take
the Balloon ride to view the Angkor Wat for 15
minutes.
This afternoon, explore the highlights of the
Small Circuit. Start your tour with a visit to Ta
Prohm temple, built in the mid 12th to early
13th centuries.
info@gocambodiatravel.com
Day 4 : School - Angkor Thom,
Balloon, Small Circuit temple
Ta Prohm is unique in that it has been left
largely as it was found: overgrown by jungle
trees and vines, with many parts of the temple
crumbling to the ground. This makes Ta Prohm
one of the most picturesque and memorable of
the Angkor temples. Your visit will also include
Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the
late 12th Century, and Srah Srang, also known
as the “pool of ablutions”.
During sunset time, Angkor Wat is less visited,
and the Apsaras will shine in the most
beautiful light. Return to your hotel, where you
can enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 5: Bantey Srei & Angkor Wat
This morning, travel to the “gem” of the
Angkor area, the pretty temple of Banteay
Srey, which is best viewed in the warm
morning light. The so-called “Citadel of the
Women” remains the best preserved temple
in Cambodia. It displays some of the finest
examples of classical Khmer art as this small
temple is noted for its truly remarkable fine
bas-reliefs. Banteay Srey is unique in that it
is constructed of pink sandstone, which is
seen nowhere else in Angkor.
On the way back, you will have the
possibility to stop at local communities along
the way and your guide will help you to
interact with the local community to learn
about the way of life here. Seize the
opportunity to taste Palm Wine and Palm
Sugar (seasonal) and other popular local
produce. Return to hotel to rest.
Afternoon, depart on a very special
sightseeing tour of the famous Angkor Wat
by local tuktuk. Built during the reign of King
Suryavarman II in the early 12th century,
info@gocambodiatravel.com
Angkor Wat is constructed following the model
of the temple mountain symbolizing Mount
Meru, the home of the gods. Inside the temple,
the walls are covered with stone carvings and
bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology and the
wars Suryavarman II fought during his reign.
Angkor Wat is well known for the more than
2,000 Apsara dancers decorating the temple.
Construction is thought to have taken around
thirty years of intensive labor. Today, Angkor
Wat is figured on Cambodia's national flag as
the temple symbolizes the soul of the Khmer
people.
During sunset time, Angkor Wat is less visited,
and the Apsaras will shine in the most beautiful
light. Return to your hotel to take rest.

Day 6: Rolous Group, Cow Cart Ride
& Tonle Sap
info@gocambodiatravel.com
Head out to the early-Angkor era temples of
the Roluos Group, about 15km outside of
Siem Reap. Roluos is the site of the first
town built by the Angkorian kings in the 8th
and 9th century and consists of three main
temples: Bakong, Lolei. Explore the beautiful
surrounding countryside on a ride in a
traditional cow cart, a fun way to see the
paddy fields and sugar palm trees that are
very typical for Cambodia. Enjoy the
beautiful cow card ride along the village and
the paddy rice field.
This afternoon, you will embark on an
interesting boat trip on the Tonlé Sap Lake,
where you will have the opportunity to learn
about life on the lake. Tonle Sap is South
East Asia’s largest freshwater lake with its
size varying greatly depending on the
season, as it is swelling to about four times
it size during the wet season. Board a local
boat and visit Kampong Phluck, a village
where you will see houses on stilts that are
submerged when Tonlé Sap Lake extends.
On the way, you will pass floating houses
and impressive flooded forests, portraying
life on the water.

Why I travel
Having been bitten as the travel consultant for 6years by
tourism industry, I filled up myself with all great fun and
enormous experiences. I was born along Mekong River at the
remote beautiful village which was my lovely place in life.
Cambodia is a green land with cool nature and pure smile from
heart of our friendly people. I start travel around Cambodia
since I was 15 years old until now there are still lot of more
sites to discover.
My Most Amazing Travel Experiences
Doing fishing at Koh Rong Island in Sihanouk Ville was one of
my most wonderful ever experiences. I love fishing, snorkeling
and I’m finding way to learn how to do diving. We heated by
private boat from Sihanouk Ville for approximately 2 hours and
immediately we arrived at the island, we walked around the
island to interact with local Sok San village then we can start
doing fishing the rocky areas in island. It was amazing day trip
tour!
