5 May Siem Reap arrival (..)
Pickup at the airport. Transfer to the hotel in Siem Reap. Free and easy for personal activities.

6 May Siem Reap arrival (B/L)
Today, we will spend full day to visit Siem Reap. We will start with visit to the West Gate of Angkor
Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist. We will visit: the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th
century), the South Gate of Bayon Temple- unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200
smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, The Royal Enclosure - Phimeanakas, The Elephant Terrace and the
Terrace of the Leper King.
We will then visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since
1992, known for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas -relief in
the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology,
visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sun set view form Bakheng hill.

7 May: Siem Reap Tour (B/L)
After breakfast we spend this full day to visit Banteay Srei: nearly everyone's favorite site. The
special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the
excellence of it decorative carving. Banteay Samre could not be missed. Its rose -colored
sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most
accomplished Angkor has to offer.
We embark on Ox cart to visiting the Khmer Village and enjoy view of the rice field and a lots of
palm trees with great fresh air. We board on boat in Tonle Sap Lake. Here, enjoy a brief cruise
past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals.

8 May: Siem Reap tour – Phnom Penh (bus) (B)
Free and easy to explore Siem Reap till pickup by bus in the afternoon for transfer to Phnom Penh.

2. We will start the day with visit to the Palace which is now home to the royal family and is therefore
very close to the public. At the northern area of the palace grounds is Silver Pagoda, the most
sacred shrine in the country. The next stop of our trip is the National Museum, exclusively
dedicated to Khmer art and sculpture. Then we transfer to the Choeung Ek Memorial, visiting
Killing field before transferring to the airport for flight to Saigon.

10 May: Saigon – Cu Chi tunnels – Cao Dai Temple - Hanoi (B/L)
We will start from your hotel to visit the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh (120 km) where daily Mass is
done by the Caodaism followers at noon. Cao Dai is a combination of Buddhism, Confucianism,
Taoism, native Vietnamese spiritualism, Christianity and Islam. After lunch, we head to Cu Chi
Tunnels. The tunnels cover an extensive underground network (approximately 200 kilometers) of
tunnels dug initially by the Viet Minh and later expanded by the Viet Cong. The tunnels contained
hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used extensively for refuge and storage and
also utilized as a military base for the Viet Cong close to Saigon. The 1968 Tet Offensive was
launched from Cu Chi with surprising effect. A section of the tunnels has been widened to allow
tourists to get a feel for what the life underground must have been like (please note that this will
be hot and sweaty and also a bit claustrophobic!)

11 May: Saigon – half day city tour - Hanoi (B)
Free and easy till pickup for half day city tour. We visit the Reunification Palace, War Remnants
Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral. You will also admire the many beautiful French colonial
buildings such as the main post office and the former Hotel de Ville (city hall). The day ends with
visit to Ben Thanh bustling market.
Free and easy till transfer to the airport for departure flight to Hanoi.

12 May: Hanoi – night train to Sapa (B/L)
08:30 Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Then visit Ho Chi
Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho”s final
resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum
is the One Pillar Pagoda~ founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an
important symbol for the people of Hanoi.
After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum~ continue to visit the Literature Temple and
Quoc Tu Giam. Vietnam”s first university constructed in 1070. It’s gardens and well-preserved
architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam”s past. Free for dinner till transfer to the train
station for night train to Sapa.

13 May: Lao Cai - Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van - Sapa (B/L)
You are welcome at the station for transfer to Sapa. Breakfast upon arrival at local restaurant. We
will then start from your hotel for 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of
Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. A 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai
village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. If lucky enough,
you will have chance to see endless ripening paddy fields on continuous terraces. Lunch at a local
3. family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full
of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes on the way and get back to
Sapa by jeep or motorbike.

14 May: Cat Cat & Sin Chai (B/L)
A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong.
Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that
was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side
of the river, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain,
“the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before
climbing up on the way back to Sapa.
Free untill pickup by bus for the transfer to Laocai station.

15 May: Hon Gai harbor - Bai Tu Long Bay - Thien Canh Son Cave (L, D)
Arrive Hanoi early. Transfer to mini hotel for refreshment and wait till transfer to Halong at 8am.
Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta.
You will have a chance to take photos. Comfort break enroot.
12.00 We arrive Halong bay, embark the Red Dragon Junk at Hon Gai International harbor.
13.00 Check-in the Red Dragon Junk, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing. We have time to
refresh and unwind. Set sail as lunch is prepared by our chef. Join us for a relaxing lunch in the
restaurant. Enjoy the stunning views of the Bay, its dramatic limestone islands as we sail through
the calm waters while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring by the fascinating
formations of the Bay.
15.00 We enjoy swimming in the crystal water and explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave
16.45 Short cruise to Hon Co island where you can enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach,
swimming or kayaking. Kayaking is suitable for all levels and ages. Our expert will run thro ugh the
safety procedures and after a basic paddling lesson our experienced guide will lead you to explore
the Bay, its lagoons and beaches. For those who prefer a relaxing afternoon, make the most of
sunbathing on deck.
Back on board, we enjoy the sunset. You can join friends for a pre-dinner drink in the bar.
19.00 Have dinner and overnight on the Red Dragon Junk.
16 May: Vung Vieng Fishing Village- Hon Gai harbor (B/L)
7:30: We will have great opportunity to view the sunrise over the Bay. Breakfast, coffee and tea
and served while sailing through the waters with fresh air.
08.30 Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row -boat, meet the local people and pass through
the floating school and fish farms.
09.30 More time for swimming in the middle of the bay.
10.00: Back on the Red Dragon Junk, we have time to relax before checking out. Start cruising
towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served. Disembark our boat and say farewell to the
staff before transferring to our minibus or your private car to return to Hanoi.
Arrive Hanoi at about 5pm. Free and easy for personal activities till time for night train to China.
