4. Introduction of Project
 The Pharmacy Management System Project in Python is a computer-based
program for managing, monitoring, and recording medical store activities.
Through automated features, it helps to increase the efficiency of medical stores. It
also aids in the resolution of challenges with manual pharmacy management.
 The pharmacy management system, often known as the pharmacy information
system, is a system that organizes and manages the drug usage process within
pharmacies by storing data and enabling functionality.
 A Pharmacy Management System in Python with Graphical User Interface (GUI)
with a SQLite3 database connectivity in python. A user can add, update, delete,
search medicine details.

5. Objective of Project:
Existing System:-
The customer goes to the shop and purchases the medicine required. So a lot of time
is wasted and the person gets tired. If he wants to exchange the product, once again
he goes to the shop and replaces them. The complete process depends on the
physical interactions.
 More time.
 No proper records.
 No tracking.
 No more informations on the medicines.
 Needs Physical Presence.
Proposed System:-
 In this system each schedule can be tracked from the start till the end of the
Project cycle.
 User friendliness is provided in the application with various controls.
 Readily uploads the latest updates and allows users to interact.
 There is no risk of data mismanagement at any level while the project is being
developed.

 Pharmacy Management Module: Used for managing the Pharmacy details.
 Inventory Module : Used for managing the details of Inventory
 Medicines Management Module: Used for managing the information and
details of the Medicines.
 Stocks Module : Used for managing the Stocks details.
 Customer Module: Used for managing the information of customers.
 Notification Module: Alert notification for befor empty of stock and expiry
of medicne.

12. Conclusion of the Project
 This Pharmacy management system database design was made
based on managing pharmacy requirements. The system can
encode both customers and medicines’ information.
 Pharmacy management system is actually a desktop application
which handle the essential data and save the data and actually
about the database of a pharmacy and it's management.
 This software help in effectively management of the
pharmaceutical store or shop.It provide the statistics about
medicine or drugs which are in stocks which data can also be
updated and edited.It works as per the requirement of the user
and have options accordingly.
 It allow user to enter manufacturing as well as the expiry date
of medicine placing in stock and for sales transaction.The main
purpose is effectively and easily handling of pharmacy data and
it's management.
