Persuasive Essay On High And Middle School
The start times for High and Middle school should be switched with the upper and primary. The times should be switched for the following 3
reasons. First, high schoolers need more sleep.Second, younger kids go to bed earlier than teens so they can wake up earlier. Last but not least, the
high will have fewer tardies first block. High schoolers need more sleep than the younger kids. Mainly because a majority of kids are not fully awake
first block and just half do all their work. Also younger kids don't need as much sleep they are always hipper and they take naps after school or even
during school.
There are reasons kids should start later than high school students. The main reason is because that many parents half to be at work at 8,

School Promotion Persuasive Essay
It has been a very busy summer, and it is hard to believe that the kids have been back in school a few weeks already. As you settle into your school
routine, remember to keep your children involved in church. Sunday school promotion will be Sept.6th. Wanda Sparks will again be teaching the 3
and 4 year old class. Kindergarten through second grade is taught by Linda Treadway. Third through fifth grade teachers are Kim Bennett and Tony
Baker. Children's Church will also start on Sept. 6th. Toddlers and 3 and 4 year olds will stay in their classroom for Sunday school and church.
Kindergarten – third grade will come into the sanctuary for prayer and singing and then be dismissed during welcome of guests. Don't forget to sign up

Middle School Persuasive Essay
Middle school. Clusters of kids standing in the middle of the hallway acting like blocked off signs you would see during construction on the highway.
Random conversations fill the air, as you acquire tiny fragments of a different person's conversation each time you pass by. It seems scary, but it's quite
the adventure. Middle school and High school can be really hard for kids, and for some it comes really easy for. Some kids don't know who they are
yet, and are trying to discover who they're meant to be. That's why one word of advice I would give to any Middle–schooler or High–schooler would
to be to "Find your purpose, and stay with it." We all have our own destinies. Whether it's God's future planned for you, or your dreamt future.

Persuasive Essay On Online Classes
Most people think highly of online classes; get to work from home, get to work on a flexible schedule, and anyone can do it. Though no one has
heard the cons of taking one. I personally took three semesters of online classes in high school and had a horrible experience. Because of loose
scheduling, poor communication, and the focus needed, online classes are not suitable for procrastinators. To give a better understanding, I will
summarize my experience with the class. Me, being a procrastinator, thought to myself: I'll just work on the weekends and if I don't finish the class by
the end of the school year, I can finish within the first few weeks of summer. This was a god awful plan. Unsurprisingly, close to nothing was
accomplished on the weekends. Friends would ask me to hang out every weekend, and I did every time. Why would I want to work on my class on the
weekend when I could be having fun? I would later regret this decision. On the days I stayed home and could have worked on the class, I completed
nothing. On these days, I would tell myself: I'll just complete what I didn't do this weekend next weekend. This rarely happened. Thus, the cycle of
getting nothing accomplished started. I disregarded my class for most of the first semester of junior year. With only nine assignments out of eighty
finished after the first semester of the school year, I was immensely behind. I told myself to get my act together during second semester and grind out
these two semesters

Persuasive Essay On Middle School
Teachers,
Let me apologize ahead of time for the length of this email, but it is our goal to ensure that you are made aware of important dates and information.
As we near the beginning of an excellent school year, there are a few reminders pertaining to the cleanliness of Coile Middle School. The custodians
have worked hard the past couple of weeks on enhancing and improving the school's hallways and classrooms. Please make sure to thank them for their
hard work and efforts.
In order to help keep the school on a path of excellence, please make sure you have students to clean the classroom each period before leaving the
classroom. This makes the work of our custodians a little easier and shows continual appreciation for their time. Maintaining a clean and orderly
environment has also been proven to increase student achievement. Our students WILL succeed. Also, don't forget to keep all workrooms and copy
rooms neat and orderly. Please wipe up any spills or call for a custodian if you need assistance. Food items should not be left out and unattended for
long periods of time. If you place items in the refrigerator in the workroom, please keep a check on the item. We will begin to clean items out of the
refrigerator on a regular...show more content...
As a reminder, all students have the opportunity to participate in recycling in each of your classrooms. Please encourage them to recycle.
The first 2x10 Relationship Builder & Positive Call Home forms will be due on Friday, August 21st. Copies will be provided to your team leaders. If
you need assistance or still have questions concerning this, please see your team leader or an administrator.

Essay on Why Students Should Go to School
Why should students go to school?
There are several reasons why kids need to go to school but to me, the top three reasons are getting an education helps you go farther in life, it's
required by the state that you go till you reach a certain age, and it will help you learn social skills and help you be comfortable to talking to people.
Although students may not like going to school, it benefits them in the long run. It is important for students to go to school to get an education. Even
though some students may not like to go to school it is required that they go. Even though students may not realize it but they also learn social skills
by making friends and talking in front of people. It's significant for students to go to school so...show more content...
If you ever went into a business where you had to do a presentation on a piece of work you've been working on or if you came up with a new idea
that you thought could help your business, you would most likely have to present the information in front of your boss and coworkers. Having
social skills could play a big role in your presentation because if you was not comfortable talking in front of a crowd, then you could either: freeze
up while talking, talk too fast cause you're so nervous and want to get the presentation over with, your face could turn red, etc. But, if you had
social skills and were use to talking in front of a group of people then you will be comfortable presenting your project with no worries. Also by
socializing students can make friends. By making friends school could also be more enjoyable. You will have friends to eat lunch with; friends to
hang out with on the weekends and you will have friends in your classes so they will be less boring. If you went to a school where you didn't have
any friends or where you didn't like anyone, then you will not enjoy the activities you may do in class and you may want to change schools to find
kids that you do like and will enjoy being around. By having social skills it will help you talk to people and make friends.
Students may not like going to school but, it is for the best. By going to school students can get an education and get a job or go to college and

Middle School Leadership Personal Statement
Throughout Middle School and High School, I have won multiple Academic Honors and was able to partake in a Leadership Group/Camp. In Middle
School, I was Honored as the best student in Reading, won many A–Honor Rolls, a few A/B–Honor rolls, and multiple Perfect Attendance Awards. In
8th grade, I was chosen along with many other students to help mentor the 6th graders moving up to the middle school and from there on I became part
of a group called "Michigan Middle Leadership Initiative (MMLI)", where only 10 students were selected to join. Currently, I have maintained a
GPA of 3.89 or higher and I'm taking an Advanced Placement course for Environmental Science. Overall, I have a good attendance record and have
never been tardy for class before. At the most, I'll miss about 2 days of school in a trimester if I become ill....show more content...
By participating in softball, I can have a great time with my team, make new friends, and practice my leadership while helping my teammates
become better players. I have always tried my hardest to become the best person that i can be, so i have never been disciplined in a class or as a
member of an extracurricular activity or sport. Also, i have never served a detention, been involved in a legal action regarding policy 14 or any
other police matter, and i have never committed an act of academic dishonesty. I have always academically challenged myself by taking extra time to
study for tests, by taking harder math classes, and by taking an Advanced Placement course this year. When no one is looking, I am the same caring
person who is always trying my best to accomplish what ever task is at hand. I have been raised to be the same, caring, mature, and loving person

Persuasive Essay On STEM Education
Everyone wants what is best for their children, right? If that is true, then schools need to start preparing their students for the challenges they will meet
in college and the skills to overcome them. This is best done through the presence of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in middle
and high schools. Through Wisconsin schools furthering their focus on STEM with extracurriculars, students will gain vital skills that are necessary
for human progression, problem–solving and time management skills that can be used in real life, and the students learn how they can apply what is
being taught in the classroom to real obstacles and challenges. It is clear that STEM is a rapidly growing and advancing field that is needed for our
human progression. There are so many different professions that fall under STEM education and many of them impact the world every day. According
to former President Barack Obama "[Science] is more than a school subject, or the periodic table, or the properties of waves. It is an approach to the
world, a critical way to understand and explore and engage with the world, and then have the capacity to change that world" (Science, Technology,
Engineering and Math). Here, former President Obama is talking about how important science is as more than just a school subject; science can be
taken out of school and used to impact many people and change the world. Some may say that there have been other fields in history that became very
popular but

Middle School Persuasive Essay
The fear of finals, the stress of studying, the frenzy to fit in. All of these feelings boil up to one thing: Middle School. Although at times it may seem
that one small incident might be the end of the world, by taking certain precautions and following basic social rules, it will seem as though you danced
through your middle school years. In the midst of the rigorous academics of St. Michael's, the perplexity of social events, and the excitement of
entering the hallowed halls of high school, you can easily navigate your eighth grade journey by listening to the advice of an eighth grader who has
been through it all. Homework, tests, quizzes, oh my! Thinking about the pile of assignments that are going to be laid at your feet might cause anxiety,

From that point of view, I cannot put in my two cents yet, but I can say that a lot more goes into the preparation part of high school than is
portrayed in the cinematic world. First and foremost, the most important step in preparing for high school is choosing where you will be spending
your next four years. When doing this, look at what the school offers. If you are interested in a sport, such as basketball or volleyball, does the
school have a strong team in that sport? If you are looking for a rigorous academic program, will that school offer you a challenge? One of the most
difficult parts about picking the best school for you is having the input of others. Where your friends are attending school the next year is a big
wavering factor on your decision. Keep in mind that there will be over a thousand students at your new school, with plenty of friends to choose from.
I can speak from personal experience when I say that it is nerve–racking to think of having a completely fresh start, but at the same time, it allows for a
sigh of relief. Accelerated biology, honors geometry, theatre, engineering, and the list goes on and on. With a list of choices that could stretch across
the ocean, how is one supposed to be limited to seven classes a day? The next most crucial thing in the mapping out of your high school expedition is
picking your classes, and if you

Persuasive Essay About School Change
School! How do you see the school? How do other people see the school? Should school still exist or continue? Should they radically change? Should
teachers get paid more? Should they teach more? Make it easier to go to college? What do you think your school should change? What should they
add or take away? There are so many questions. There's a lot of opinions and disagreements. What do I think about school? Some people say we
shouldn't have school. Hi I'm a fellow student, that's in the 9th grade and these are my opinion about school. In my opinion, school is preparing
us for jobs and more. We are in school for a good 8 hours, most likely we be working 8 hours or more doing jobs. People think they can learn on
their own. So you telling me you can learn other languages, chemistry/biology, mathematics, and etc. I think not! School helps us out a lot if you
really look at it. By teaching us step by step. Focusing on our main problem. School is starting a radical change. As the years go by schools are
changing (radically). I honestly like looking through the books instead of looking online. Reading and writing is the right way, the old fashion
way. Don't get me wrong online is a good use too. I would like to stay between really. Read and write, I feel like I learn a lot better that way and
memorized it a lot more. Online is a good way of visualizing it. Teacher should get paid more. You would disagree with this, but do you know why?
Teachers goes through a lot with students, parents, and even other teachers. I can just look into a teacher's eye and tell their tired of it or stressed out.
Students are a pain in the butt. Some students are difficult to handle. Let's take a minute, let's say this teacher has 7 different classes a day. Let's say
the largest is 15–27 students. The teacher has a bad and good students. The bad students have been acting up lately and their influence the good
students to act a fool. Now the class is a racket. Just imagine you going through that every day. That's's stressful and tiring. You may say principal or
call their parents. Come on now that don't always work. You never know how the parents going to act or say back in response. Teachers should get
paid way more than what they make

Students Should Have Recess In Middle School
Remember in elementary when everyone would burst through the doors when the recess bell rang, those were the good ole days. Let's bring that
back. There are so many benefits to having recess in middle school. Students should have recess in middle school because students spend too much
time on the computer, and its is like a big brain break instead of many small ones. My first reason students should have recess is because students
spend too much time with their nose in a computer, and this can be bad for your eyes. Some of today's kids probably can't tell the difference
between a ladybug and a rolly polly. Kids need to learn how to have fun outside and not on a computer. My second reason students need to have recess
it because this would

Persuasive Essay On The Education System
Every student is bound to cheat at one point during their educational career. The reason why is to get a higher grade. Educational Institutions value
high grades rather than to value learning, that is what turns students to cheat. Students are taught on how to take tests not learn about the material. But
that is to name one of the many factors that cause the current education system to fail. Therefore, students are not getting the highest quality of
education possible that is essentially the goal of every educational institution.
Standardized testing is excessive and does not represent how much a student has learned, not only it puts pressure on students it also puts pressure on
teachers. On top of standardized testing, a lot of schools are overcrowded thus decreases the attention that is needed for each student in order to
succeed. Not only there is a problem with testing and classroom sizes, teachers also are not well educated and prepared for the expectations made by
larger classroom sizes and the pressure to educate students so that they can achieve high test scores. To further acknowledge the flaws of the current
education system, institutions should not only gauge a student's academic achievement through their grades, it should also be through progress
throughout a broader lifespan. Grades and standardized tests only capture a frame on this lifespan therefore academic achievement should also be
measured through the improvement and progress of a student's learning.

My Experience At First Middle School
Nice to Meet You All during Elementary School I couldn 't wait 'till Middle School no more taddle tails. A different teacher every day, No more
cranky teacher for the whole day. Yeah! The best part about it is that there will be air conditioning. I know that sounds really weird but at my old
school there was no air conditioning so at the end of the school year the rooms would get super hot and none of the teachers would want to turn on
the fans because they were loud and the students would get really distracted. I know that sounds crazy. I thought it would be the best years of my
life. Everyone and I mean everyone said that said that it would be really hard. At first Middle School was really easy. I met some of the nicest
people I will ever meet. I was in or at least I though I was in. I thought I was one of there friends. I though they were one of mine. I hate to say this I
mean I really truly hate to say this but I was wrong. Super wrong. When I was told that it would be hard. I though by hard when they meant math
would be hard. I was also wrong then to. I 'm starting to thing I 'm wrong a lot. I didn 't think they meant that friends and meeting new friends
would be hard. Dealing with friend drama is really hard. Middle School isn 't just hard it 's impossible. Well almost impossible. Middle school has its
ups and downs, well mostly downs if I 'm honest. As I was saying Middle School is hard I mean their is drama lots and lots of it. I mean their is

Persuasive Essay On After School Programs
After school, from 3 to 6 p.m, is a critical period of time in a child's life. After school programs help keep kids safe and inspire them to learn during
that period of time. After school programs are organized programs that youth can participate in outside of a traditional school day. Enrolling children in
afterschool programs would provide them with benefits that unenrolled children would not receive, such as reduce risky behavior and promote physical
health. After school programs provide a safe environment for children, while positively impacting their academics, safety, and their future. Generally,
after school programs are ran by schools, faith–based, or community–based nonprofit organizations. Most programs are held directly after school, but
can also be held on weekends, over breaks or vacations, or on evenings. It is important to define what the purpose of the program is going to be,
whether it be academics, sports, special interests, or cultural activities. Some other key factors of an after school program are high levels of children
involvement, a mix of academic and non academic skill building activities, and positive relationships between staff and children. Successful programs
have dedicated staff and structured routines for the children. When after school programs are ran successfully, the children involved will receive
positive benefits and skills they will be able to use to better their future. In communities today, 11.3 million children take care of

Middle School Descriptive Writing
Sunlight is beaming through the window as the alarm clock beeps louder and louder. The first day jitters have begun. Just a little over two months
ago, fourth grade came to an end for Emily and summer vacation began. But, where did the summer go? Long days spent at the beach buried in the
sand; seem like a distant memory. Fifth grade has become the reality and being a middle school student is still sinking in. Finding the perfect outfit
seems near impossible. No one wants to start the first day of being a middle school student wrong. An agitated voice yelled down the hallway "Emily,
you are going to miss your bus if you don't hurry up!" She grabs a pair of Jeans and a pink Old Navy T–shirt. Time is not on her side. Before running
out of the house she grabs a breakfast bar, this was not how Emily planned to start the day. Such loud, anxious conversations echoed off the walls of
the bus. Bouncing around in the brown seats, trying to focus on something other than her shaky hands proved to be a difficult task. After what seemed
like forever, the towering building came into view. How could brick and stone be so intimidating? The brief walk along the brick path took no time at
all. New faces crowded the hall. The atmosphere almost resembled a jungle, frightened little animals mixed in with leopards. The leopards could

Mrs. Rodriguez introduced herself and asked the students to share something about themselves with the class. Why must students be faced with the
challenging task of talking in front of others on the first day? Isn't the first day in a new school challenging enough? Quietly, almost mouse like, one
girl said her name was Alana and she was new in town. Suddenly the fear went away. Knowing other students were just as nervous made it easier for
Emily to share stories about the days spent at the beach, and the jellyfish swarming around swimmers looking for their next

Stay in School, Persuasive Essay
To make good money as an adult, you must have a good job. To have a good job, you must get a good education and go to college. To go to college,
you have to go to high school and elementary school. If you drop out or don't go to school at all, you'll go nowhere. Life today, money is everything,
and I think that the foundation of getting a good job is the education you get in the first 20–25 years of your life. School does not only teach subjects
like English, Math, History, or Science, but it also lets us meet new people and build good character. Stay in school, because it will help you meet new
people, build good character, and will also get you to a job that you will love. A lot of jobs in today's society require you to talk to...show more content...
To become trustworthy, you have to work your way up to become trusted by your classmates and/or close friends. If you are good at keeping
secrets, that's one way to know you are trustworthy. But this does not show your employer that you are trustworthy. It's just something that you
can tell your employer to show something about yourself that you are trustworthy. Also, some jobs require resumes in their applications. If you
have been fired in a previous job because of stealing money or just being lazy, other jobs your try to apply for will be hard because they won't be
able to trust you. That's why staying at a good school will help you build the trustworthy, responsible character you'll need to find a job you love.
Loving what you do is something really important because it is something you have to go through until you retire when you're around 65 years
old. It will really be hard to work in a job for over 30 years if you don't enjoy it. For example, if you don't get paid as much as you want and you also
don't enjoy what you do, it could be because of the choices you made in school. If you want what's best for yourself that you know you love and
you are good at, you should take advantage of the education you have before you graduate college. For example, if you know you are good at
biology, and you think it is interesting, going towards the medical field and being a doctor might be the best option for you. If you are good and love
biology but you

Persuasive Essay On The Importance Of Education
A high–quality and accessible education is important for all children. Through education, children gain knowledge and skills that can lead to greater
opportunities and upward mobility later in life. Education has [Passive] long enabled people to go further than they ever thought possible; to explore
new ideas and to achieve new goals. Fostering knowledge and creativity enables children to forge their own paths in life. As an educator, it is my

Inclusion
A classroom where everyone has access, is not necessarily a classroom where everyone feels included. In order to create an inclusive environment, the
teacher should assure that all students feel included and understood. Diversity should be valued in the classroom and this starts with the attitude of the
teacher. When students come from a different backgrounds, the teacher should learn about their cultures and integrate that knowledge into the learning
environment. The teacher should also strive to foster acceptance and value in classroom diversity among students.
Resources
Students shouldn't suffer because they are unable to afford basic resources needed for school. If a parent is unable to provide the student with what they
need, I would have available extra supplies including, notebooks, binders, and pens on hand for student use. Additionally, I think it's important to
acknowledge that sometimes the resources students are lacking stretch beyond the walls of the classroom. The problem might be as simple as not
getting breakfast in the morning, or as complicated as not having a place to live. Obviously, as teachers we probably have the ability to fix the first one
(free school breakfast application help), but not the later. We can, however, be empathetic to a student's situation and treat them with understanding
instead of frustration.

My goal is to make my classroom a learning environment where all students can be

  • 2. Persuasive Essay On High And Middle School The start times for High and Middle school should be switched with the upper and primary. The times should be switched for the following 3 reasons. First, high schoolers need more sleep.Second, younger kids go to bed earlier than teens so they can wake up earlier. Last but not least, the high will have fewer tardies first block. High schoolers need more sleep than the younger kids. Mainly because a majority of kids are not fully awake first block and just half do all their work. Also younger kids don't need as much sleep they are always hipper and they take naps after school or even during school. There are reasons kids should start later than high school students. The main reason is because that many parents half to be at work at 8, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. School Promotion Persuasive Essay It has been a very busy summer, and it is hard to believe that the kids have been back in school a few weeks already. As you settle into your school routine, remember to keep your children involved in church. Sunday school promotion will be Sept.6th. Wanda Sparks will again be teaching the 3 and 4 year old class. Kindergarten through second grade is taught by Linda Treadway. Third through fifth grade teachers are Kim Bennett and Tony Baker. Children's Church will also start on Sept. 6th. Toddlers and 3 and 4 year olds will stay in their classroom for Sunday school and church. Kindergarten – third grade will come into the sanctuary for prayer and singing and then be dismissed during welcome of guests. Don't forget to sign up for Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Middle School Persuasive Essay Middle school. Clusters of kids standing in the middle of the hallway acting like blocked off signs you would see during construction on the highway. Random conversations fill the air, as you acquire tiny fragments of a different person's conversation each time you pass by. It seems scary, but it's quite the adventure. Middle school and High school can be really hard for kids, and for some it comes really easy for. Some kids don't know who they are yet, and are trying to discover who they're meant to be. That's why one word of advice I would give to any Middle–schooler or High–schooler would to be to "Find your purpose, and stay with it." We all have our own destinies. Whether it's God's future planned for you, or your dreamt future. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Persuasive Essay On Online Classes Most people think highly of online classes; get to work from home, get to work on a flexible schedule, and anyone can do it. Though no one has heard the cons of taking one. I personally took three semesters of online classes in high school and had a horrible experience. Because of loose scheduling, poor communication, and the focus needed, online classes are not suitable for procrastinators. To give a better understanding, I will summarize my experience with the class. Me, being a procrastinator, thought to myself: I'll just work on the weekends and if I don't finish the class by the end of the school year, I can finish within the first few weeks of summer. This was a god awful plan. Unsurprisingly, close to nothing was accomplished on the weekends. Friends would ask me to hang out every weekend, and I did every time. Why would I want to work on my class on the weekend when I could be having fun? I would later regret this decision. On the days I stayed home and could have worked on the class, I completed nothing. On these days, I would tell myself: I'll just complete what I didn't do this weekend next weekend. This rarely happened. Thus, the cycle of getting nothing accomplished started. I disregarded my class for most of the first semester of junior year. With only nine assignments out of eighty finished after the first semester of the school year, I was immensely behind. I told myself to get my act together during second semester and grind out these two semesters Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Persuasive Essay On Middle School Teachers, Let me apologize ahead of time for the length of this email, but it is our goal to ensure that you are made aware of important dates and information. As we near the beginning of an excellent school year, there are a few reminders pertaining to the cleanliness of Coile Middle School. The custodians have worked hard the past couple of weeks on enhancing and improving the school's hallways and classrooms. Please make sure to thank them for their hard work and efforts. In order to help keep the school on a path of excellence, please make sure you have students to clean the classroom each period before leaving the classroom. This makes the work of our custodians a little easier and shows continual appreciation for their time. Maintaining a clean and orderly environment has also been proven to increase student achievement. Our students WILL succeed. Also, don't forget to keep all workrooms and copy rooms neat and orderly. Please wipe up any spills or call for a custodian if you need assistance. Food items should not be left out and unattended for long periods of time. If you place items in the refrigerator in the workroom, please keep a check on the item. We will begin to clean items out of the refrigerator on a regular...show more content... As a reminder, all students have the opportunity to participate in recycling in each of your classrooms. Please encourage them to recycle. The first 2x10 Relationship Builder & Positive Call Home forms will be due on Friday, August 21st. Copies will be provided to your team leaders. If you need assistance or still have questions concerning this, please see your team leader or an administrator. Your first lesson plan is due Sunday, Aug. 23rd by 10:00 pm for the week of Aug. 24th– 28th. On Wednesday, Aug. 12th, there will be a lesson planning meeting on for each grade level during first planning. Please see the email from Ms. Barefield for more Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Essay on Why Students Should Go to School Why should students go to school? There are several reasons why kids need to go to school but to me, the top three reasons are getting an education helps you go farther in life, it's required by the state that you go till you reach a certain age, and it will help you learn social skills and help you be comfortable to talking to people. Although students may not like going to school, it benefits them in the long run. It is important for students to go to school to get an education. Even though some students may not like to go to school it is required that they go. Even though students may not realize it but they also learn social skills by making friends and talking in front of people. It's significant for students to go to school so...show more content... If you ever went into a business where you had to do a presentation on a piece of work you've been working on or if you came up with a new idea that you thought could help your business, you would most likely have to present the information in front of your boss and coworkers. Having social skills could play a big role in your presentation because if you was not comfortable talking in front of a crowd, then you could either: freeze up while talking, talk too fast cause you're so nervous and want to get the presentation over with, your face could turn red, etc. But, if you had social skills and were use to talking in front of a group of people then you will be comfortable presenting your project with no worries. Also by socializing students can make friends. By making friends school could also be more enjoyable. You will have friends to eat lunch with; friends to hang out with on the weekends and you will have friends in your classes so they will be less boring. If you went to a school where you didn't have any friends or where you didn't like anyone, then you will not enjoy the activities you may do in class and you may want to change schools to find kids that you do like and will enjoy being around. By having social skills it will help you talk to people and make friends. Students may not like going to school but, it is for the best. By going to school students can get an education and get a job or go to college and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Middle School Leadership Personal Statement Throughout Middle School and High School, I have won multiple Academic Honors and was able to partake in a Leadership Group/Camp. In Middle School, I was Honored as the best student in Reading, won many A–Honor Rolls, a few A/B–Honor rolls, and multiple Perfect Attendance Awards. In 8th grade, I was chosen along with many other students to help mentor the 6th graders moving up to the middle school and from there on I became part of a group called "Michigan Middle Leadership Initiative (MMLI)", where only 10 students were selected to join. Currently, I have maintained a GPA of 3.89 or higher and I'm taking an Advanced Placement course for Environmental Science. Overall, I have a good attendance record and have never been tardy for class before. At the most, I'll miss about 2 days of school in a trimester if I become ill....show more content... By participating in softball, I can have a great time with my team, make new friends, and practice my leadership while helping my teammates become better players. I have always tried my hardest to become the best person that i can be, so i have never been disciplined in a class or as a member of an extracurricular activity or sport. Also, i have never served a detention, been involved in a legal action regarding policy 14 or any other police matter, and i have never committed an act of academic dishonesty. I have always academically challenged myself by taking extra time to study for tests, by taking harder math classes, and by taking an Advanced Placement course this year. When no one is looking, I am the same caring person who is always trying my best to accomplish what ever task is at hand. • 9. Persuasive Essay On STEM Education Everyone wants what is best for their children, right? If that is true, then schools need to start preparing their students for the challenges they will meet in college and the skills to overcome them. This is best done through the presence of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in middle and high schools. Through Wisconsin schools furthering their focus on STEM with extracurriculars, students will gain vital skills that are necessary for human progression, problem–solving and time management skills that can be used in real life, and the students learn how they can apply what is being taught in the classroom to real obstacles and challenges. It is clear that STEM is a rapidly growing and advancing field that is needed for our human progression. There are so many different professions that fall under STEM education and many of them impact the world every day. According to former President Barack Obama "[Science] is more than a school subject, or the periodic table, or the properties of waves. It is an approach to the world, a critical way to understand and explore and engage with the world, and then have the capacity to change that world" (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Here, former President Obama is talking about how important science is as more than just a school subject; science can be taken out of school and used to impact many people and change the world. Some may say that there have been other fields in history that became very popular but Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Middle School Persuasive Essay The fear of finals, the stress of studying, the frenzy to fit in. All of these feelings boil up to one thing: Middle School. Although at times it may seem that one small incident might be the end of the world, by taking certain precautions and following basic social rules, it will seem as though you danced through your middle school years. In the midst of the rigorous academics of St. Michael's, the perplexity of social events, and the excitement of entering the hallowed halls of high school, you can easily navigate your eighth grade journey by listening to the advice of an eighth grader who has been through it all. Homework, tests, quizzes, oh my! Thinking about the pile of assignments that are going to be laid at your feet might cause anxiety, ...show more content... From that point of view, I cannot put in my two cents yet, but I can say that a lot more goes into the preparation part of high school than is portrayed in the cinematic world. First and foremost, the most important step in preparing for high school is choosing where you will be spending your next four years. When doing this, look at what the school offers. If you are interested in a sport, such as basketball or volleyball, does the school have a strong team in that sport? If you are looking for a rigorous academic program, will that school offer you a challenge? One of the most difficult parts about picking the best school for you is having the input of others. Where your friends are attending school the next year is a big wavering factor on your decision. Keep in mind that there will be over a thousand students at your new school, with plenty of friends to choose from. I can speak from personal experience when I say that it is nerve–racking to think of having a completely fresh start, but at the same time, it allows for a sigh of relief. Accelerated biology, honors geometry, theatre, engineering, and the list goes on and on. With a list of choices that could stretch across the ocean, how is one supposed to be limited to seven classes a day? The next most crucial thing in the mapping out of your high school expedition is picking your classes, and if you Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Persuasive Essay About School Change School! How do you see the school? How do other people see the school? Should school still exist or continue? Should they radically change? Should teachers get paid more? Should they teach more? Make it easier to go to college? What do you think your school should change? What should they add or take away? There are so many questions. There's a lot of opinions and disagreements. What do I think about school? Some people say we shouldn't have school. Hi I'm a fellow student, that's in the 9th grade and these are my opinion about school. In my opinion, school is preparing us for jobs and more. We are in school for a good 8 hours, most likely we be working 8 hours or more doing jobs. People think they can learn on their own. So you telling me you can learn other languages, chemistry/biology, mathematics, and etc. I think not! School helps us out a lot if you really look at it. By teaching us step by step. Focusing on our main problem. School is starting a radical change. As the years go by schools are changing (radically). I honestly like looking through the books instead of looking online. Reading and writing is the right way, the old fashion way. Don't get me wrong online is a good use too. I would like to stay between really. Read and write, I feel like I learn a lot better that way and memorized it a lot more. Let's say the largest is 15–27 students. The teacher has a bad and good students. The bad students have been acting up lately and their influence the good students to act a fool. Now the class is a racket. Just imagine you going through that every day. That's's stressful and tiring. You may say principal or call their parents. Come on now that don't always work. You never know how the parents going to act or say back in response. Teachers should get paid way more than what they make Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Many middle school students are looking forward to high school. Most are looking forward to graduate and get a scholarship, but others are waiting to make new friends and to meet new teachers.Unfortunately, most students don't want to have a good life and not graduate.Students are looking up for getting their driver's license and drive to school.High school is mostly about sports. • 13. Students Should Have Recess In Middle School Remember in elementary when everyone would burst through the doors when the recess bell rang, those were the good ole days. Let's bring that back. There are so many benefits to having recess in middle school. Students should have recess in middle school because students spend too much time on the computer, and its is like a big brain break instead of many small ones. My first reason students should have recess is because students spend too much time with their nose in a computer, and this can be bad for your eyes. Some of today's kids probably can't tell the difference between a ladybug and a rolly polly. Kids need to learn how to have fun outside and not on a computer. My second reason students need to have recess it because this would Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Persuasive Essay On The Education System Every student is bound to cheat at one point during their educational career. The reason why is to get a higher grade. Educational Institutions value high grades rather than to value learning, that is what turns students to cheat. Students are taught on how to take tests not learn about the material. But that is to name one of the many factors that cause the current education system to fail. Therefore, students are not getting the highest quality of education possible that is essentially the goal of every educational institution. Standardized testing is excessive and does not represent how much a student has learned, not only it puts pressure on students it also puts pressure on teachers. On top of standardized testing, a lot of schools are overcrowded thus decreases the attention that is needed for each student in order to succeed. Not only there is a problem with testing and classroom sizes, teachers also are not well educated and prepared for the expectations made by larger classroom sizes and the pressure to educate students so that they can achieve high test scores. To further acknowledge the flaws of the current education system, institutions should not only gauge a student's academic achievement through their grades, it should also be through progress throughout a broader lifespan. Grades and standardized tests only capture a frame on this lifespan therefore academic achievement should also be measured through the improvement and progress of a student's learning. • 15. My Experience At First Middle School Nice to Meet You All during Elementary School I couldn 't wait 'till Middle School no more taddle tails. A different teacher every day, No more cranky teacher for the whole day. Yeah! The best part about it is that there will be air conditioning. I know that sounds really weird but at my old school there was no air conditioning so at the end of the school year the rooms would get super hot and none of the teachers would want to turn on the fans because they were loud and the students would get really distracted. I know that sounds crazy. I thought it would be the best years of my life. Everyone and I mean everyone said that said that it would be really hard. At first Middle School was really easy. I met some of the nicest people I will ever meet. I was in or at least I though I was in. I thought I was one of there friends. I though they were one of mine. I hate to say this I mean I really truly hate to say this but I was wrong. Super wrong. When I was told that it would be hard. I though by hard when they meant math would be hard. • 16. Persuasive Essay On After School Programs After school, from 3 to 6 p.m, is a critical period of time in a child's life. After school programs help keep kids safe and inspire them to learn during that period of time. After school programs are organized programs that youth can participate in outside of a traditional school day. Enrolling children in afterschool programs would provide them with benefits that unenrolled children would not receive, such as reduce risky behavior and promote physical health. After school programs provide a safe environment for children, while positively impacting their academics, safety, and their future. Generally, after school programs are ran by schools, faith–based, or community–based nonprofit organizations. Most programs are held directly after school, but can also be held on weekends, over breaks or vacations, or on evenings. It is important to define what the purpose of the program is going to be, whether it be academics, sports, special interests, or cultural activities. Some other key factors of an after school program are high levels of children involvement, a mix of academic and non academic skill building activities, and positive relationships between staff and children. Successful programs have dedicated staff and structured routines for the children. When after school programs are ran successfully, the children involved will receive positive benefits and skills they will be able to use to better their future. • 17. Middle School Descriptive Writing Sunlight is beaming through the window as the alarm clock beeps louder and louder. The first day jitters have begun. Just a little over two months ago, fourth grade came to an end for Emily and summer vacation began. But, where did the summer go? Long days spent at the beach buried in the sand; seem like a distant memory. Fifth grade has become the reality and being a middle school student is still sinking in. Finding the perfect outfit seems near impossible. No one wants to start the first day of being a middle school student wrong. An agitated voice yelled down the hallway "Emily, you are going to miss your bus if you don't hurry up!" She grabs a pair of Jeans and a pink Old Navy T–shirt. Time is not on her side. Before running out of the house she grabs a breakfast bar, this was not how Emily planned to start the day. Such loud, anxious conversations echoed off the walls of the bus. Bouncing around in the brown seats, trying to focus on something other than her shaky hands proved to be a difficult task. After what seemed like forever, the towering building came into view. How could brick and stone be so intimidating? The brief walk along the brick path took no time at all. New faces crowded the hall. The atmosphere almost resembled a jungle, frightened little animals mixed in with leopards. The leopards could pounce any minute on their...show more content... Mrs. Rodriguez introduced herself and asked the students to share something about themselves with the class. Why must students be faced with the challenging task of talking in front of others on the first day? Isn't the first day in a new school challenging enough? Quietly, almost mouse like, one girl said her name was Alana and she was new in town. Suddenly the fear went away. Knowing other students were just as nervous made it easier for Emily to share stories about the days spent at the beach, and the jellyfish swarming around swimmers looking for their next Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. Stay in School, Persuasive Essay To make good money as an adult, you must have a good job. To have a good job, you must get a good education and go to college. To go to college, you have to go to high school and elementary school. If you drop out or don't go to school at all, you'll go nowhere. Life today, money is everything, and I think that the foundation of getting a good job is the education you get in the first 20–25 years of your life. School does not only teach subjects like English, Math, History, or Science, but it also lets us meet new people and build good character. Stay in school, because it will help you meet new people, build good character, and will also get you to a job that you will love. A lot of jobs in today's society require you to talk to...show more content... To become trustworthy, you have to work your way up to become trusted by your classmates and/or close friends. If you are good at keeping secrets, that's one way to know you are trustworthy. But this does not show your employer that you are trustworthy. It's just something that you can tell your employer to show something about yourself that you are trustworthy. Also, some jobs require resumes in their applications. If you have been fired in a previous job because of stealing money or just being lazy, other jobs your try to apply for will be hard because they won't be able to trust you. That's why staying at a good school will help you build the trustworthy, responsible character you'll need to find a job you love. Loving what you do is something really important because it is something you have to go through until you retire when you're around 65 years old. It will really be hard to work in a job for over 30 years if you don't enjoy it. For example, if you don't get paid as much as you want and you also don't enjoy what you do, it could be because of the choices you made in school. If you want what's best for yourself that you know you love and you are good at, you should take advantage of the education you have before you graduate college. For example, if you know you are good at biology, and you think it is interesting, going towards the medical field and being a doctor might be the best option for you. If you are good and love biology but you Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. Persuasive Essay On The Importance Of Education A high–quality and accessible education is important for all children. Through education, children gain knowledge and skills that can lead to greater opportunities and upward mobility later in life. Education has [Passive] long enabled people to go further than they ever thought possible; to explore new ideas and to achieve new goals. Fostering knowledge and creativity enables children to forge their own paths in life. As an educator, it is my greatest desire to guide children on their educational journeys in a meaningful way. Inclusion A classroom where everyone has access, is not necessarily a classroom where everyone feels included. In order to create an inclusive environment, the teacher should assure that all students feel included and understood. Diversity should be valued in the classroom and this starts with the attitude of the teacher. When students come from a different backgrounds, the teacher should learn about their cultures and integrate that knowledge into the learning environment. The teacher should also strive to foster acceptance and value in classroom diversity among students. Resources Students shouldn't suffer because they are unable to afford basic resources needed for school. If a parent is unable to provide the student with what they need, I would have available extra supplies including, notebooks, binders, and pens on hand for student use. Additionally, I think it's important to acknowledge that sometimes the resources students are lacking stretch beyond the walls of the classroom. The problem might be as simple as not getting breakfast in the morning, or as complicated as not having a place to live. Obviously, as teachers we probably have the ability to fix the first one (free school breakfast application help), but not the later. We can, however, be empathetic to a student's situation and treat them with understanding instead of frustration.
