This document outlines a model for personal branding and self-assessment using the framework of a balance sheet. It discusses 10 key elements to consider when developing a personal brand: 1) defining a mission statement, 2) conceptual model of core values, 3) needs assessment, 4) resource management, 5) philosophy, 6) image, 7) strategy, 8) alternative procedures, 9) feedback and optimization, and 10) acknowledging that perfection is impossible. The goal is to de-commoditize oneself by communicating one's core values to optimize how one's essence is presented, while also remaining adaptable to feedback in order to continuously improve.
