The Giver holds the
knowledge and wisdom
and memories of the
community pre-
sameness. He is the only
person who feels
emotions. He fell in love
with his first trainee
( receiver), Rosemary.
But when she was taken
from him, became very
anger and vowed to be
silent.
The giver over turned
his vow of silence
because of his
growing love for
Jonas. He knew he
needed to find a way
to teach the
community a way so
he helped Jonas.
 Zebra’s problem in
    the story was that he
    broke his arm and leg
    and so he couldn’t
    run any more until it
    healed . Zebra was
    sad because he
    couldn't run any more
    because running was
    what he liked to do.
 Zebra met a man named
    Mr. Wilson who became
    his teacher for the
    summer. While he
    teaching him about how
    to draw, Zebra soon
    stopped hurting and he
    began to feel better as
    his arm started healing
    and improving. When it
    healed Mr. Wilson was
    finished with helping
    Zebra.
 Victor's problem in
    the story. His problem
    was that he was
    trying to get Teresa to
like him. He did all he
    could to impress her
    but he couldn’t.
 After a while Teresa
    found out that Victor
    spoke French so he
    was able to impress
    her by speaking
    French because she
    liked French. Victor
    imprested Teresa and
    she now wants to
    study French with
    him
 The first character : The Giver was sad and lonely
in a community where everyone was the same. He
fixed his problem by sharing his memories with
    Jonas.
 The second character: Zebra broke his arm and leg
and was no longer able to run. Mr. Wilson helped
him by getting him involved in art so he would
forget about his love for running.
 The third character: Victor tried to get Teresa to
like him but couldn’t then found a way to get her
to like him by making her to study French with
    him.
