Challenge
In partnership with Big House Communications, we were asked to develop an online competition
and social media promotion, leveraging the brand's relationship with Sidney Crosby in order to
engage and capture Gatorade consumers.
Strategy
We built a microsite to manage the contest entries and support the Meet Sidney campaign, using
Facebook (both viral and advertising) and in-store communication to drive entries to the
competition. The results speak for themselves:
Results
51,700 promotional entries, both online and mail-in.
40,000 website visits during the course of the campaign.
15 million impressions on Facebook with over 7,000 fans.
