This document provides information about an upcoming pediatric urology workshop to be held from November 21-23, 2013 at the Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital in Nadiad, India. The workshop will feature both international and national faculty discussing various pediatric urology topics through both lectures and live surgery demonstrations. Registration information and the tentative scientific program schedule are also included.

Dear Colleagues
It is time for our annual Paediatric Urology workshop on 21, 22 & 23rd
November, at Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital, Nadiad, Gujarat. We
have International faculty viz. 1) Prof. Ramnath Subramaniam, HOD,
Paediatric Urology Unit, St James Teaching Hospital, Leeds 2) Prof.
Piet Hoebeke Paediatric Urology Unit Chief Belgium 3) Prof Henning
Olsen from Aarrhus University, Denmark. The problems will be
discussed both theoretically as well during surgery. Topics to be
discussed are 1) VUR – deflux injecton & surgical approach,
Lap/Robotic. 2) Robotic paediatric urology surgery including
pyeloplasty and other surgeries 3) Hypospadias 4) Epispadias 5)
Surgery for disorders of sexual development. List appears big but will
depend on availability of cases & time
but maximum amount of
cases/possible will be demonstrated. 6) Micro PCNL in paediatrics.
An interesting session in the afternoon after morning short lecture &
surgery, will be an interactive session on difficult cases in
management in Paediatric Urology.
There will be Indian faculty viz Prof.Hemant Patak, Prof.M.S.Ansari &
Dr.Mallikarjuna Reddy – all of whom are specially interested in
paediatric urology, Hypospadias & Laproscopic Surgery in
paediatrics.
