Milo is an interactive, and global
learning and performance management
platform designed specifically for Pearson
people. It will bring learning and performance
management to everyone globally, making
us “Always learning” from the inside out.

Finding
your way
around
NEO
The Neo community is all about
helping, sharing and informal learning.
Your profile helps to inform others
about your expertise. Your profile also
enables you to show others where you
sit within the organisational structure.
Set up your profile
Log in and you will see the Neo
homepage. To see your profile, click
on your name on the navigation bar
of the homepage. Click on the drop-
down menu, then go to ‘Edit profile &
privacy’ under ‘Personal Settings’.
Fill out all the compulsory fields - your
name, contact details and time zone.
There is also space for you to include a
biography, skills and interests.
Don’t forget you can add more than one
language by holding down Ctrl+Alt keys
and selecting the languages you want
using your mouse.
Add suitable Tags, so that it’s easier
for people to find you. This can include
words to describe your expertise, role,
projects you work on etc. Once you’re
happy with your profile, click Save.

What

at Edinburgh Gate
Ship Café
Opening Times: 8am-5pm
Located on the ground floor, this café serves
great coffee and specialty teas. In the
mornings it provides breakfast, a popular
self-select section where you can toast
your chosen bread, bagel or muffin. A
selction of snacks and fruit are also on offer.
Fifth floor terrace Restaurant
Opening Times: 9:30am -2pm
A wide selection of foods are served
including a daily hot special, jacket
potatoes, sandwiches and salads. Friday’s
fry-up starts with a full English breakfast
served from 9:30 lunch is fish and chips.
Cashless Vending Card
Your security pass acts as both an ID card
and a cashless vending card for use in the
Ship Café and the Fifth Floor restaurant.

Meeting rooms can be booked through
Facilities on Tel: 4444 or by emailing

Stationery
General stationery items are available
from the stationery room located on
the ground floor atrium. Any non-
stock items can be ordered using the

The Post room is located on the ground
floor through the door right of the
library entrance.

Print Room
The Print room is in the central atrium
next to the Ship Café. Print services
include colour copying, bulk copying,
binding, laminating and much more.
Discuss your print requirements with the
Document Services team. Complete the
order forms, submit with the required
work and jobs are fulfilled within 48 hours.

Fitness Facility
The Pump Room fitness centre is located
on the ground floor at Edinburgh Gate.
The Gym is managed by the Healthworks
Fitness Manager, who can be contacted on
Tel: 3329. The equipment includes step,
running and rowing machines and general
weights equipment. Membership is open
to all Pearson employees for a joining fee
of £10 and a monthly fee of £8.50.
Dry Cleaning
A dry cleaning service is provided every
Monday, Wednesday and Friday between
12 noon and 2pm. The service collects
and delivers from the ground floor next
to the stairs.

A free bus service into Harlow town
centre operates every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. This service is
operated by ‘Golden Boy Coaches’ and is
a dedicated Pearson service door to door.

is Harlow Town Park that covers 164
acres of beautiful parkland. Suitable
for running, walking or just a break

How to set up your desk phone
To access your desk-phone voicemail
account dial (01279 62) 4000. When
prompted for your mailbox enter your
four-digit extension number followed
by the # key. When prompted for your
password enter 11 plus your four-digit
extension number followed by the # key.
You will now be prompted to change your
password again before you can proceed.
After you have changed your password
the system will inform you of the number
of voicemail messages you have waiting.
