Regular participation in sports and being active can also promote good mental health. This includes
improving your mood, enhancing your sense of well-being, reducing anxiety, combating negative emotions,
and protecting against depression. Sports had always been a matter of lifestyle to people around the world.
The effects (lack of body conditioning, loss of interest in playing volleyball, loss of opportunity to
train, improve their skills, and compete, slowly engaging in vices like smoking and drinking, etc, and missed
tournaments) are most prominent among volleyball athletes during the pandemic.

This study will use descriptive research method
to collect quantifiable information for
statistical analysis of the population sample.
Also, this study will develop a training program
that will address the holistic development of
student-athletes of Saint Louise de Marillac
College of Sorsogon Bachelor of Physical
Education.
