C.G. was admitted to the emergency department with acute symptoms and was diagnosed with an acute anterolateral myocardial infarction. C.G. had a history of multiple medical conditions and refused medication. Despite interventions including stents, intra-arterial balloon pump, and maximum support, C.G.'s prognosis was very poor with a high risk of mortality. After palliative care discussions, the family decided to transition to comfort care and C.G. passed away.
