2. PDHPE is directly concerned with supporting
the whole development and wellbeing of
students in the areas of
social, mental, physical and spiritual health.
3. PDHPE develops students’ knowledge and
understanding, skills, values and attitudes -
giving them the tools they need to lead
healthy and fulfilling lives.
4. Through PDHPE, Primary Schools are able to
educate young people on health
priorities, including drug use, fitness and
physical activity, child protection and
nutrition.
5. PDHPE is able to contribute to an improved
and ongoing quality of life for all individuals
within the community.
