In this paper, the authors provide a thorough conceptualization of relationship quality and its possible antecedents, i.e., bond relationship, Temporal, Social, and Structural bond, drawing on an empirical base of 219 buyers questionnaires, Structural equations modeling (SEM) is used to assess the simultaneous effects of the predictive variables. An empirical survey confirms the impact of the relational bond dimension on the satisfaction. The satisfaction has an effect on the customer trust witch influence his commitment. The findings are discussed and the authors provide managerial implications for decision-makers from both buyer and supplier organizations.

ABSTRACT
This paper examines 798 firms with mission statements and vision statements to show there
are relationships between the two and posits that strong relationships produced greater
organizational performance. Using the taxonomies of Allison (2017a), Allison (2017b), and an
extension of the latter developed in this paper, the statements are classified into their taxonomic
groups and then analyzed statistically. The results surprisingly show a single strong link between
one type of mission statement and one type of vision statement. This paper then discusses how
such a relationship may result in superior performance outcomes. Consequently, this paper
significantly contributes to theory by finding a specific relationship between statements, discussing
why some firms have this relationship, and then extending this discussion to organizational
performance.
INTRODUCTION
Mission statements have been a frequently studied topic (Vizeu & Matitz, 2013). Also
frequently studied has been the topic of vision by virtue of it being a major component of other
subjects such as leadership and strategic management. However, vision statements as a codified
document have not been studied as much as mission statements. Nevertheless, because both
statements are text, rigorous study of them has been arguably difficult. It has been the increase in
computing power that has led to the development of techniques to analyze text such as text
analytics.
Text analytics has provided as way in which to analyze mission statements and vision
statements without researcher bias. Allison (2017a) provided a natural language taxonomy of
vision statements while Allison (2017b) provided a natural language taxonomy of mission
statements. Because the mission and vision statements are from the same organizations, it may be
possible to find relationships between the two and make some conclusions about performance
outcomes. That is why this paper exists.
The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationships between mission and vision
statements from the same organizations and to determine if there are organizational performance
outcomes from those relationships. The uniqueness of this paper is that it utilizes the natural
language taxonomies of textual constructs to study the relationships between those constructs.
Additionally, in order to study these relationships this paper extends the three-class taxonomy of
mission statements provided by Allison (2017b) by dividing the three parent classes into 20 child
classes. Finally, this paper significantly contributes to theory by developing and testing two
hypotheses that show there are relationships between types of mission statements and types of
vision statements and extending these findings to conclusions about performance.

We illustrate how our proposed taxonomy can be applied by using it to frame our exploration of the relationship between measures of reputation and characteristics of the language choices made in CEO letters to shareholders. Using DICTION 5.0 software we analyse the content of the CEO letters of 23 high reputation US firms and 23 low reputation US firms. Our results suggest that company size and visibility each have a positive influence on the extent to which corporate reputation is associated with the language choices made in CEO letters. These results, which are anomalous when compared with those of Geppert and Lawrence (2008), highlight the need for caution when assessing claims about the effects on corporate reputation arising from the language choice in narratives in corporate annual reports.

Does labor–management partnership deprive union members of
activism toward their unions? Evidence from union members in Korea

This study aims to analyze whether partnership ideology really deprives union
members of the willingness and passion to act for their union, resulting in union
decline, and whether militant unionism, which includes adversarial ideology against
employers is more effective for igniting members’ activism for their unions rather than
labor–management partnership. The survey data were obtained from union members
working in Mechanical and Metal Manufacturers Complex, Changwon, Republic of
Korea. Judging from the overall results of the data analysis, Kelly’s (1996) claim that
moderate unionism based on partnership ideology would undermine members’
activism for their unions was not supported; on the contrary, partnership ideology had
positive effects on both members’ activism for their unions and decision-making
practices. The difference between partnership and militancy is that militancy had an
intensive effect on the narrow focus of union activities, but the impact of partnership
achieved a better balance between participation in union activities and in management
decision making.

In prior researches concerning partnership, it has been very important to examine whether
partnership gives mutual gains to stakeholders like employers, labor unions and
employees. Criticism has been raised that such approaches, which are centered on
partnership outcome are separated from an understanding of their context, including the
corporate process and labor market conditions. Indeed, given the complexity of
partnership, it has been considered a myopic perspective to recognize partnership based
only on the outcome, but there is a need to understand more about the context, process and
drivers for partnership. Therefore, partnership has to be viewed as much more than a
quantitative labor–management outcome, and rather more broadly as an attempt to
reconfigure employment relations requiring more attention to internal behavioral
transformations and attitudinal improvements (Dietz 2004; Johnstone, Ackers and
Wilkinson 2009). Accordingly, this paper attempts to develop an understanding of
partnership-based approaches to employment relations that are more firmly grounded in
members’ attitude and behavior. This approach makes more of a contribution to
understanding the inner process of partnership, which is little known.

Retail media wordt gezien als het nieuwe advertising-medium en ook mediabureaus richten massaal retail media-afdelingen op. Merken die niet in de betreffende winkel liggen staan ook nog niet in de rij om op de retail media netwerken te adverteren. Marvin belicht de uitdagingen die er zijn om echt aansluiting te vinden op die markt van non-endemic advertising.
