Jan 1st 1735 – May 10th 1818
Before the Revolutionary
War, he was a Goldsmith by
trade, and was also an
engraver and dentist.
Paul Revere is known in
history for the Boston
Tea Party
• He was a member of the
Sons of Liberty that
dressed as Indians and
raided East India
Company boats and
dumped tea into the sea,
as a political protest
Paul Revere is best
known in history for the
Midnight Ride• Paul instructed a friend
to signal with one
lantern if the British
troops were coming by
land and two if by sea.
Paul saw two lanterns
and at 10 that night,
rode to Lexington
