Engineering Technician: November - December 2014
HART Engineering Corporation, Cumberland, RI:
Provide technical support to the on-site team during multiple projects being conducted at the Genzyme-
Sanofi Allston Landing Facility in Boston, Massachusetts. The project stream was comprised of the
RENA construction program, Production Suite One Upgrades and the Facility Infrastructure Operational
Shut-down. Assigned duties included selective demolitions, pre-construction logistics mobilization, cargo
securement and delivery of bio-process specialty items and timesheet accounting. Independent tasks
included ‘first delivery’ material inspections, materials expedition, and the distribution of mechanical
fittings and specialty packages to crew supervisors. This was a short-duration assignment, providing
valuable teamwork experience in a fast-paced environment that involved meeting demanding safety and
quality standards, while maintaining a critical integration timetable.
Short Order Cook: August – November 2014
Famous Pizza, Westerly, RI
Prepare various lunch and dinner orders for customers in a small local family-owned pizzeria. Duties
required learning recipes, supporting other staff members, understanding kitchen supply cycles and
interacting with clientele. Responsibilities included receipt and verification of food service deliveries from
vendors, safe food handling and storage, housekeeping and hygiene. Support special event activities with
the set-up of guest arrangements and related decorations.
Stockperson: May – December 2011
Benny’s, Westerly, RI
Work with other staff members as part of a retail department store’s business team. Normal tasks
required the break-down delivery pallets, assistance in the warehousing of consumer goods, pricing of
merchandise and the stocking of shelves. Sales floor assignments included housekeeping and the
assembly and maintenance of sales displays. Interaction with customers was an essential part of my
duties. Good customer relations skills were developed and maintained by helping people with locating
merchandise, order-picking, and assisting them by delivering their orders to their vehicles.
