Patricia Knight
Ms. Knight is a Senior Default/Servicing Management Consultant/Project Manager in the LoanSphere
Business Consulting & Technology Services division of Black Knight Financial Services. Her BKFS
career began in 2010 as a consultant in Professional Services. Patty’s career focus has been in the
area of default technology, where she was the project lead on multiple implementations, conducted
default classroom training, and assisted with software development.
In the beginning of 2010, a large scale national bank was in the process of converting three servicing
platforms into two client portfolios on MSP. Patty was assigned to the year long “Tango/UNO” project
to assist with Director scripting. Patty worked with the client’s default team to define business
requirements and she assisted in the development, testing and implementation of the scripts to ensure
efficiency once the new client numbers were converted in MSP. Patty was selected to be a part of the
Dedicated Service Delivery Team assigned to a Top 5 mortgage servicer. She spent over a year on
this team assisting the REO department with the revamping of processes in LoanSphere Process
Management in an effort to meet new OCC requirements. As the single point of contact for this client
regarding REO Process Management she worked to resolve all concerns in the most effective and
timely way. Patty spent the following year and a half working in the LoanSphere Invoice Management
Implementations department. She assisted multiple clients on various platforms set up business rule
configurations to ensure on time and efficient payment of invoices. Patty assisted with the first
implementation using the FISERV interface and also worked with a mega client implementing the
Milestone Billing product for their payment of foreclosure legal fees. Completing numerous
implementations throughout the year provided a continuous revenue stream to BKFS through the use
of Invoice Management. Patty has also assisted with training a Top 5 mortgage servicer on the Invoice
Management and Process Management applications. At present she is assisting a Top 10 mortgage
servicer with the realigningment of their Check Request Business Rules in the Invoice Management
application.
Prior to her BKFS experience, Patty spent 30 years in the mortgage servicing industry, working mostly
within the default area. She began her mortgage servicing career as a foreclosure representative with
a large financial institution. As she expanded her knowledge, she was promoted to Vice President of
Default Administration, where she was responsible for the Collections, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy,
Foreclosure, and Real Estate Owned departments. In addition, Patty worked as a liaison between her
company and a leading default software vendor, where she participated in the implementation of its
system across all of her departments. In 2004, she worked for Fidelity Information Systems (FIS) in
Business Strategy as a subject matter expert for Collections and Loss Mitigation for the MAGNIFIDE
initiative. In 2008 - 2010, Patty helped develop a Windows-based, workflow-driven application to
handle the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) campaign. This system enabled an
outsourcer to process 10,000 Fannie Mae HAMP solicitations and complete 6,600 Fannie Mae trials,
resulting in many borrowers keeping their homes.
Patty Knight possesses over 35 years of mortgage servicing and default knowledge and experience,12
years of MSP experience and 6 years LoanSphere Process Management and Invoice Management
experience. Patty is a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Association (BPW) and has
been President of the DeLand DeLites Women’s Elks Orgainzation since 2010.
