INTRODUCTION

In view of the recent amendment made in the Patents Act, 1970 by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The Patent Office is required to be published under
the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings
on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on
this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller
General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that
the content can be enriched.

Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of
opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under
section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules,
2006.
Notice is also given that if any interested person requests for copies of the complete specification, drawing and
abstract of any application already published, the photocopy of the same can be supplied by the Patent Office as
per the jurisdiction on payment of prescribed fees of Rs.4/- per page. If any further details are required to be
obtained, the same can be provided by the respective Patent Offices on request.

        Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,
Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.


The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.

Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

architect ,which will dampen the thermal losses and sound decibel levels from glazing areas of the buildings and others thus achieving
the desired levels of U and R values as per theoretical designs and as per international codes and saving heavily on electric energy and
creating a sound pollution free environment minimizing the use of natural wood by compositing wooden layers in any of the forms
said above, which will act as insulator to the highly conductive aluminum/metal to be seen as wooden frame from inside for
aesthetical purposes ,to retain the outer exposed surfaces of aluminum to withstand the extreme weather conditions or totally
restricting the use of of natural wood by substituting and compositing aluminum profiles with synthetic wood or polyurethane irmers.
Thermal barriers are provided optionally to further insulate.

tarmac coaches is disclosed. The automatic system incorporates a combination interlocked swing out door and a lifting platform which
comes to the floor level of the bus OR positions itself at a slightly lower height to act as the first step into the bus for normal
passengers OR comes down completely to the road level for the wheel chaired passengers. The mechanism includes a foldable
platform which opens up automatically and makes the lift platform long enough to accommodate the wheel chaired person along with
an attendant. The foldable flap folds itself and remains within the bus width after the wheel chaired person boards the bus.

thin film solar cells wherein CdS quantum dots have been incorporated into the nanocrystalline TiO2 thin films by successive ionic
layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method by which CdS quantum dots occupy the void spaces of the working electrode (TiO2
nano crystals) . The shortcomings faced in transport of electrons through void spaces is overcome by this process by filling of the void
spaces with CdS quantum dots which improves the movement of the electrons without any loss of efficiency inside the working
electrodes . A solar cell with carbon nano tubes having more absorbing area decreases the electron recombination process in the
working electrode surface and increases the efficiency.

anode metal has single crystal with {111} crystal plane exposed to the testing solution. The organics present in the waste water is
extracted with an organic solvent. A thin film of the extracted solution is exposed to the probe. A D.C voltage, in the range of 1-1500
mV is applied for a duration of 1-1000 picoseconds to the anode with respect to a reference electrode. The external current and anode
potential are measured. The empirical data are extrapolated to equilibrium concentration of oxidisable organics present and exposed to
crystal {111} plane. The redox data are converted to Chemical Oxygen Demand and displayed in terms of COD, mg/ltr.

sensing means, controls the opening and closing of the three way port and ejects the said individual balls of the flowable paste
material onto a conveyor system positioned below the said volumetric filler means.

The present invention provides a process wherein low manganese containing materials such as leached sea nodule residues are
processed for Ferro-silico-manganese production by two stage smelting route without any blending with high manganese containing
material to correct the Mn/Fe ratio, which is quite low in leached sea nodule residues. The process involves two stage smelting of the
leached sea nodule residues. In the first stage smelting, iron is separated to increase the Mn/Fe ratio in the first stag slag. Thereafter,
the first stage slag with suitable Mn/Fe ratio is smelted to produce standard grade Ferro-silico-manganese. In short, the first stag
smelting uses coke as reductant and quartzite as flux, after which the separation of metal and slag is done. In the second stage
smelting, the first stage slag is smelted using coke as reductant and lime as flux, after which the Ferro-silico-manganese alloy is
separated from the slag obtained.

A device has been developed for the effective isolation of volatile oil with improved yields from the roots of Indian sarsaparilla and
related aromatic roots using super heated steam. A method has also been developed for isolation of volatile oil by subjecting the
powdered root to uniform heat penetration using the novel device with the provision of using the super heated steam for purging the
raw material kept under aqueous medium and also circulating the super heated steam in an outer jacket for the total release of volatile
oil from the aromatic roots such as Indian sarsaparilla (H. indicus). The isolation involves size reduction of the roots followed by
subjecting the powder to uniform heat penetration by purging with super-heated steam to release the volatiles in the developed device.
The volatile oil was collected along with the distillate by condensation and the condensate was subjected to solvent-solvent extraction.
Thus the volatiles were collected into organic layer, on removal of organic solvent gives the volatile oil.

The present invention relates to a method and device for casting of cellulosic pulp material such as pulp of bamboo, banana, waste
paper etc. in hollow cylindrical form. Such casted cellulosic product is required for air filtration unit or making porous SiC ceramic
material with further processing to use in light weight mechanically loaded structures at high temperature hostile atmospheres, kiln
furniture, mechanical pump seals, armour ceramics etc. The present invention provides device for casting of cellulosic pulp material in
hollow cylindrical form which comprises of a moulding cylinder having a funnel through which properly disintegrated pulp mixed
with water and suitable binder by stirring poured in, the said device having a discharged chute with flange having a round slot for
incorporating perforated plate, for proper settling of pulp and drain out maximum amount of water from the pulp slurry vibration is
applied to the cylinder for a period of 5 to 10 minutes, the said device also comprises of a plunger having two numbers of plunger rod
connected to rack moving in rack guiding cylinder, wherein compression on pulp ranging from 0.075 MPa for 0.3 MPa for 2 to 4
hours duration depending on requirement of density, porosity and height of the hollow cylindrical shaped casted pulp is applied
through plunger by engaging prime mover so that excess amount of water is drained out through perforated plate and discharged chute
forming a semi dried pulp cast, the casted pulp in hollow cylindrical shape is taken out without breaking by opening discharged chute,
perforated plate from the cylinder base plate and applying pressure on casted pulp by downward movement of the plunger on engaging
the rack & pinion assembly of the moulded cylinder, the whole assembly is supported on four numbers of legs through a base plate,
then the casted pulp is dried in an oven at constant temperature for use as air filter or before further processing to make SiC ceramics.
The device on manual operation comprises of wheel with a handle supported on bearing with supporting structure as prime mover of
the device in place of the bidirectional electric gear motor. To monitor pressure applied on the pulp by the plunger in the cylinder, a
load cell with an electronic circuit and a display unit is provided.

The device on manual operation comprises of wheel with a handle supported on bearing with supporting structure as prime mover of the device in place of the bidirectional electric gear motor.
