Pentingnya Penulisan Spesifikasi Paten Permohonan paten diajukan secara tertulis Kantor Paten memeriksa spesifikasi permohonan, bukan perwujudan konkrit invensi Permohonan dapat “dianggap ditarik kembali” jika tidak memenuhi persyaratan fisik (ukuran kertas, margin penulisan dan lain-lain) Permohonan dapat “dianggap ditarik-kembali” atau ditolak jika tidak ditulis secara jelas dan lengkap Permohonan tidak dapat diamandemen melampaui lingkup perlindungan seperti yang telah diajukan dalam permohonan semula
