We will learn that flowers contain male and female organs, and that seeds are formed when pollen from the male organ fertilizes the female organ. The four main parts of a plant are the roots, which absorb water; the stem, which provides support; the leaves, which provide energy through photosynthesis; and the flower, which allows the plant to reproduce through the fertilization of its male and female organs.
