families. Part 3 questionsMission We are a University Hospital founded and run by the

Vision In 2021, the MHC as a regionally certified Academic Medical Center, will lead from its
new facilities an integrated network of health care, teaching and research at the service of
users of the General Social Security System and the Public University, maintaining the
accreditation as a University Hospital. Urgently ICU nurses are needed or those who have
the skills to handle critical cases and who have knowledge of the various machinery used in
such a unit, for example ventilators. Organizational chart • • Develop or adapt a nursing
practice model/philosophy of nursing statement. Include a description and visual aid. Part 3

points) Part II – The Problem Since the arrival of COVID-19, we began to prepare both in
infrastructure, as well as in the protocols of care, security and personal protection elements
for employees. The large investment that has been made so far, in addition to the low
demand for health services due to the confinement of people, added to the fear of attending
a medical center, has considerably reduced the financial resources of the hospital, which
have already begun to impact on the basic and payment of the salary of our more than
3,000 employees. That is why today we want to promote the “Saving Lives” donation
campaign, with which we resort to and solidarity in search of financial help that will be
vital to maintain our operation, as well as to fulfill all our medical, assistance and
administrative personnel. Because thanks to them we will be able to face with capacity and

PowerPoint slides o If TurnItIn report is more than 25%, make sure you review and provide
in-text citations where necessary (otherwise, you are plagiarizing which is academic
dishonesty and will NOT be tolerated). Presentation = (10 points) – Presentation
informative with good flow from beginning to end. Professional dress and presentation with
great voice inflection, eye contact, and use of visuals. Content is accurate, presented in a
logical order. Images cropped and clear. – graded in other forum with upload of Group
Process Rubric Each student will complete a Group Process evaluation of their team mates.
The Group Process rubric shall be uploaded in the appropriate forum. (attached) NSG470
Course Project Each group will create and present a PowerPoint (PP) presentation for this
project. The components of the project are broken up into five parts; please refer to each
part for specific guidelines.The Group DOES NOT need to submit each part to Moodle. This
is an independent group, self-paced project that will be submitted to Moodle and presented
in week 9 of the course. Questions should be directed to the instructor for full clarity.
Project Objective: The team will create an organization, facility, or unit and identify a
problem that exists. The group will create a plan of change and evaluation for that problem.
Finally, the group will evaluate each other regarding group dynamics. This project meets the
following course objectives: 1. Describe and apply the concepts, theories, and principles of
leadership and management, and how these are integral to professional nursing practice. 2.
Apply and interpret concepts and theories for managing change, communication, and
conflict resolution for effective decision-making in practice. 3. Analyze and explain
strategies for resource allocation and process improvement in the changing healthcare
environment. Make each element or section is addressed in the final presentation. This
project is worth 200 points and is 15% of your assignment grade. Presentations include key
concepts of the proposal with an introduction and conclusion. Note pages should
accompany the presentation with appropriate in-text citations (add these to the bottom of
each slide. In-text citations are not necessary on the presentation but are expected in the
notes.References at the end of the presentation in APA format are expected. In order to
complete this project, the group should only utilize reliable and SCHOLARLY nursing
references, such as nursing textbooks, ATI textbooks, scholarly peer-reviewed publications,
and scholarly websites (end in .org, .edu or .gov). Do not use .com, .net, wikis, blogs or non-
scholarly sources. SWOT Analysis: Each team will complete a Learning Team Agreement as
a contract with each other regarding how the project will be completed. Application of
SWOT analysis are included in the LTA to assist the group in creating the agreement. Part I –
The Organization, Facility, or Unit • • • • • Create a healthcare organization (hospital,
outpatient center, home health care agency, specialty service center, telehealth agency, etc.).
o Provide a summary of the organization, including name, type of facility, location of facility,
and purpose/population. o If an actual organization is used as a model, then the
organization MUST be deidentified. (10 points) Develop a mission and vision for the
organization. (10 points) Identify/create an organizational structure (create an
organization chart). Include what type of nursing staff will be employed. (10 points)
Develop or adapt a nursing practice model/philosophy of nursing statement. Include a
description and visual aid. (10 points) Identify 2-4 methods that are used to communicate
