About UK Parliament Week
• UK Parliament Week is an annual event which aims to raise awareness of and
encourage more engagement with Parliament across the UK
• Each year partner organisations across the UK take part by holding events for
the public, schools, their users and staff
• We have toolkits on our website that you can use to help plan your event
• Partners can receive free resources for the events and activities
• Evaluated each year so that we can learn what works, what doesn’t and what
we can improve

Top tips for taking part
• Make sure your event or activity works for you and your audience
• The more participation at events the better
• Sign up your event as soon as you can
• Make sure you use your “Official Partner” logo on your website and
any printed materials
• Make the most of our toolkits for planning and publicising your
event

Since then we have been doing some work, based on feedback from our partners, on our sign up process. We’ve made it one form rather than two. We have also changed our logo and will be rolling it out across our website next week.
Doesn’t matter what the format of your event is, but it has to be about Parliament in some way:
